The angle here is that one of the criticisms of Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the man behind the Islamic center, is that he refused to call Hamas a terrorist organiztion. And here's Hamas standing up for the Imam's mosque, in firm agreement with Obama. Hamas, Rauf, and Obama all agree: Build the mosque!
In reality, of course, Obama did not "endorse" the Islamic center. Rauf is widely seen as a moderate, and he has condemned terrorism. And here's what Rauf actually said about Hamas:
"I'm not a politician. I try to avoid the issues. The issue of terrorism is a very complex question...I'm a bridge builder. I define my work as a bridge builder. I do not want to be placed, nor do I accept to be placed in a position of being put in a position where I am the target of one side or another...
"The targeting of civilians is wrong. It is a sin in our religion. Whoever does it, targeting civilians is wrong. I am a supporter of the state of Israel. ... I will not allow anybody to put me in a position where I am seen by any party in the world as an adversary."

Hamas said it is necessary so people can be part of a group rather than individuals. What is it about individuals that the progressives don’t like.

No, this is special, and the Islamofascists know it, and all at once the "Triumphal Tower" tradition comes into bizarre but total focus ~ yes, they intend to note the "victory" with a 15 story tower/mosque.
It is instructive that the Mayor, who has at his beck and call, night and day, some of the world's foremost experts in Islamic tradition, decided to support a "victory" tower/mosque.
It's long overdue to get rid of Bloomberg.
Agreed and everybody in the country needs to know this.
America needs at least as many mosques as there are White Castle and Kristal hamburger joints. When that level is reached America can then feel safe.
Our president is a MUSLIM.
Meanwhile, the Catholic CHURCH damaged in 9/11 remains mired in bureaucratic red tape, for whatever reason.
Hatred and fear of muslims is being used to erode Constitutional rights. NWO Elites don’t see people based on religion or states. They see tax bearing assets, and less rights and control people have over their life, better for them. Whatever the end result is, people need to remember the rights that are taken away from one group, will effect everyone, each enthnicity and each religious group in long term.

there are Rights, and then there is RIGHT, the mosque, even within it's rights... is WRONG!!!
That is why we constitution so sentiment-du-jour doesn’t eradicated our inalienable rights.
These are not rights granted by Elites, Kings, Governments, or even democratic voters, these are inalienable rights, and thus no one can take them from us.
In order to do that you have to be a complete weasel who stands for nothing or pretends pretty well that you do. That might fit you, Rauf.
