A growing number of New York construction workers are vowing not to work on the mosque planned near Ground Zero.
"It's a very touchy thing because they want to do this on sacred ground," said Dave Kaiser, 38, a blaster who is working to rebuild the World Trade Center site.

I see a lot of ‘’scabs’’ coming in for this project.
That would be great...but you know and I know that they will find someone to to do it. But my hat’s off to those with enough honor and patriotism to refuse.
Arabs with “guest visas”.
Once done, they will disappear into the woodwork.
God Bless those who have the guts to say “NO” to this project.
But, and I do say this as a realistic response, they will find others to do it, including importing workers.

Yep. I visited NYC last December and they were working away on that site. Construction on at least one rather significantly-sized building was underway.
It was a joy to behold, especially since the last time I'd seen that place was March of '02 when they were still recovering bodies...
They have a perfect right to refuse....though non-union workers should have a perfect right to replace them.

I agree with you, hats off to the rank and file members that will refuse to build it. However, I believe the unions will cave and build it anyway. Since when has a union put anything, including honor, ahead of the union?
I DO NOT MAKE THIS COMMENT AT THE RANK AND FILE. They will be pressured by the higher ups. THIS IS FOR THE UNION BOSSES that don’t give a hoot about anything but power and money.
Case in point, the GM stamping plant in Indiana. The union voted to let the plant close rather than take a pay cut to save the plant and their jobs. I know, a pay cut is brutal at this particular time in our economy. However, isn’t it better to have a job. Oh wait, I forgot, the union will pay their workers about 80% of their salary for 1 year, Obambi will give them 2 years worth of unemployment. Wow, that’s three years of getting paid for not working. Well, can’t say as I blame them. Take the money and run. We, the tax payers, have your back (sarc).
Don’t bet on it. Big Labor will save the day!

The memorial is under construction.....they are hoping to have some of it open for a dedication next year on the 10th anniversary.
I guess the Muzzies will just have to “bus in” illegals from California, Arizona & Texas.. They’re the only ones with jobs anyway. FUBO.

This is what they refer to as a victory mosque...it is what they build when they believe they have pummeled their enemy. It will be viewed as a western mecca...muslims from around the world will journey there on every 9/11 to celebrate. It must be stopped!

If the unions refuse (which I doubt) then the muzzi-bastards will contract with a foreign contractor who will import the labor.
