WASHINGTON Mitt Romney, having met last weekend in New Hampshire with the staff of his 2008 presidential campaign, is preparing to embark on an aggressive schedule that will take him to more than 25 states in what is seen as a prelude to another possible White House bid.
The two-month itinerary will launch a cycle of politicking for Republican midterm election candidates that will make Romney one of the nations most visible politicians in a year when he is not on the ballot.

Yep... And we haven’t heard a peep from Romney on the mosque issue. (Come to think of it, neither of the clintons have said anything either.)
How much did he spend last time for how many votes?
Mittforbraines is the name Mike Church uses for him. I had to chuckle the first time I heard it.
Love King Dude!
The State-Run-Media is in full RINO-promotion mode. Romney is the guy the Dem’s want, and conservatives cannot support him, period. He is symptomatic of the problem with the Republican Party, and their establishment candidates....”Democrat-lite”, i.e., no clear distinction between the two parties.
"(The GroundZero Mosque) cleared its final hurdle
developers plan to build the $100 million center which will include a mosque.
Since its incipient stages in July 2009, when a Muslim-run real-estate development
company purchased the damaged, vacant building and land where the new center
will be built, the project has sparked controversy and debate.
.... the tattered building that was bought by the Muslim real estate company had
been owned by a subsidiary of Bain Capital, a company Romney founded in 1984.
So its OK if his company can profit off the sale of the land ."
"Romney praises Obama again
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney praised President Obama
at a GOP fundraising dinner Wednesday ..
"I also think it's important for us to nod to the president when he's right," Romney said....
Romney, who spoke at a dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee,
said he's pleased with the president's plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
-- lines that drew applause from the partisan audience. He also applauded the president
for standing up to the auto industry.
"I hope he continues to be tough ....The former businessman even offered faint praise for
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that after a series of initial missteps,
"I think he's finally getting close to the right answer."
Leper, backstabber, shape-shifter Mitt ("Believe-my-Myth-or-else") Romney:
"You will embrace this attack on Gov. Palin, her children, and throw Election2008.
Then attack Gov. Jindal, Gov. Palin, and the other GOP governors.
Create, then support, the attacks from our northern lands,
our bought media, and our plants within the Obama team.
I will gain GOP favor by condemning the very same attacks and
ordering them opposed from our lands in the south.
Whichever way the tide runs, we will rise and only I will be left standing. "
Romney is the equivalent of herpes to the conservative movement. No matter how you try to get rid of him he keeps popping up.
LOL, You are now in the lead for quote of the day (in my books anyway) ;^)
Probably a better analogy is metastatic cancer.
Fact: The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts. in some polls, days prior to the election.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY decided to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.
Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."
The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
Erick Erickson, who organized Operation Leper, said:
"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off .hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."
"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the Diva leak was Nicolle Wallaces husband."
Kathleen Parker: "[I]t is increasingly clear that Palin is a problem." "Parker ... says something publicly that many of us have thought privately
but lacked the courage to say out loud - Palin should step down:"
"Parker: Romney raised bar on freedoms"
Kathleen Parker: "If Kennedy's speech was an important landmark in American political history,
Romney's was surpassing. With heartfelt humility and poetic eloquence,
he tracked the nation's struggle with and for freedom."
I can hardly describe how disgusted I’ll be if this guy successfully buys the GOP nomination in ‘12.
I need to save these. Thanks.
Great, another McCain. If the Pubs want to get shellacked again, then nominate Romney.
I’ll write in anyone other than him
