I remember a Ted Hayes from the 80’s who was a homeless advocate, but I'm pretty sure he was a lib.

Ted is still fairly liberal but he is an American first. I know he has stood with us on the border as well.

I love his racial profiling comment. Funny how no one asked Lee or never ask any other whiners who constantly cry about the turnout of this event or the Tea Parties being a ‘sea of white’ why blacks are so racist? They choose not to be there. Nobody stopped anyone from coming. They of their own free will chose not to come. So why not call them on that?
I’m glad to see Ted Hayes stand up to Lee but he is certainly a mixed bag. While he is lamenting Lee about dividing the races he himself has no problem calling for Reparations. Funny how almost to person with most blacks it ultimately comes down to race no matter how ‘conservative’ they claim to be.

Ted Hayes is a sincere man, was a lib, and is still an advocate for the homeless in California. His eyes were opened when he saw the issue of homelessness, and the very people he was trying to help, being exploited for cheap political reasons. He realized the homeless were worse off after the government got into the “homelessness” industry than they were when individuals and churches spearheaded homelessness relief.
Over the years, Ted has become more and more conservative/anti-big government in all areas of the “War on Poverty”, advocating the empowerment of individuals/churches in the prosecution of that war as opposed to government-run programs. He has come to believe that “poverty pimps” have hijacked the Civil Rights movement, have made minorities’ more disadvantaged, and have denied the dream of Dr. MLK, Jr., rather than embracing it. He is a strong advocate for the USA controlling its borders and its immigration as a means of reducing American joblessness and economic recession.
Thank you very much for the info....what a great pleasure it is to see someone open their eyes and realize what is really happening in this Country.
