Maybe he was speaking of the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Perhaps you didn’t notice the dozens of Priests, Ministers, Reverends, Pastors, Imams, Rabbis, etc locked arm-in-arm behind him.
Was he supposed to poke them in the eye, or unite in reverence to the spiritual awakening this nation needs today?
Someone has way too much time on his hands. And I think it’s me.
Methinks the vanity poster protests too much.
Nothing like picking the fly crap our of the pepper.
ok
I think you’re hearing thing.
He’s clearly speaking to one being...
‘
“It is You, Lord God...” not “It is yall, Lord Gods...”
Matthew 7:15
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
God states that he is supreme and jealous and that you shall put no other God before him.
I often laugh at people who insist on using the term Gods as they are implying that because others worship differently, they can’t be praying to his God. At the risk of raising angst and fire in my direction, I offer that none of us own God and that how we pray to him is our own business. Further, that it will be God’s decision, not man’s as to what pleases God. I’ll shut up now. Enjoy your whine.
We've got far more important things to be focused on than some wording and semantics. And if you want to call me a heretic because I ask these questions, go ahead, my 'God' knows me better than you. I'm so sick and tired of these arguments.
I was at the rally and also noticed his use of the plural “gods” instead of God. I even looked around to see if anyone else had heard the same thing. My concern is that in our rush to get out in front of God and “save” our nation we compromise His Word to be “inclusive”. In John 14:6 we are told that “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” We can certainly have a big tent politically but as far as salvation is concerned...
“But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
You missed another case where he clearly said “God”, at 9:36.
And if you notice, every place where he added an “s” was at a comma, and it seems a verbal tic, since whenever he wasn’t at such a stop, he clearly says “God”, and since “You” is singular.
Certainly a wierd verbal tic; although if I had to guess I’d say you were hoping to find he was Mormon, and once you found out otherwise, you had invested too much time in your research not to post anyway.
I think you’ve got it wrong.
Pastor Paul Jehle seems like a straight-up man of the Bible.
Here he is:

I am a Bible-believing Protestant Christian and I don’t see a problem here.
I caught the wording as he was praying. At first I thought it was a mistake, then I realized he kept repeating it.
I THINK he was trying to be inclusive to the others who were onstage (Rabbi and the Native Americans); however, I think he should have stuck to his principles and prayed to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords who he mentions in the rest of his prayer.
The other participants would have understood, and his prayer would not have been “negated” in the eyes and ears of believers for being PC.
Just my two cents...
Quixotic.
Because there were 240 ministers, preachers, Imam’s, etc...
This was not a crusade. I think you have your trousers in a twist over nothing important. No one went there to be converted.
This might sound crazy but did this writer ask the minister what he meant? I have friends that speak in plural form. It threw me at first but when you think of it They are Three yet One.
