Save a runoff in October, Tuesday's primary action will be the last for House candidates this cycle. And it's fitting that we end this anti-incumbent primary season with a few incumbents -- Reps. Charles Rangel (D) and Carolyn Maloney (D) -- in some degree of danger. And it's also appropriate that several races will feature Tea Party challengers facing more establishment favorites in GOP primaries. So, we end where we began. Very fitting.
Here are our top 10 primaries to watch on Tuesday[analysis at link]:
1. 1. NY-15 [Primary challenge to Charlie Rangel]
2. NY-23 [Doug Hoffman vs Matt Doheny] to challenge Bill Owens
3. NH-02 [Charlie Bass vs Jennifer Horn vs Bob Giuda, Ann McLane Kuster vs Katrina Swett] to replace Hodes
4. DE-AL [Michele Rollins vs Glen Urquhart] to replace Castle
5. WI-08 [Reid Ribble vs Terri McCormack vs Roger Roth] to challenge Steve Kagen
6. NY-14 [Primary challenge to Carolyn Maloney]
7. NY-01 [Rushbo-endorsed George Demos vs Chris Cox vs Randy Altschuler] to challenge Tim Bishop
8. NH-01 [Sean Mahoney vs Bob Guinta vs Rick Ashooh] to challenge Carol Shea-Porter
9. MD-01 [Andy Harris vs Rob Fisher] to challenge Frank Kratovil
10. MA-10 [Joe Malone vs Jeff Perry] to replace Bill Delahunt

I expect Doheny to beat Doug Hoffman, who didn't seem to run a strong campaign.
Jennifer Horn is running as a Constitutional conservative, while Charlie Bass is a moderate. I'd like to see Horn win but not sure she finished the sale.
The Delaware race is depressing; I don't particularly care.
I like either Reid Ribble or Terri McCormack; Roth is the son of the district's former Congressman. Ribble is a businessman and McCormack a pro-life woman, both of which we need more of in Congress.
George Demos is not expected to win. Andy Harris should win the primary easily and take the general election as well.
I'm not a believer in Jeff Perry, but he's better than Joe Malone.
Give me a ping, Vasili. One ping only, please.
The Roth running in WI-08 is the nephew, not the son, of ex-Congressman Toby Roth.
I’m rooting for McCormick in that one.
If Rangel is only in ‘some degree of danger’ we are not sitting as pretty as we thought.
Delaware is gone. Nothing to see there.
Ping
great reference ping
amazing also how many state house primaries in MASS in both parties including leftist DEM incumbents primaried by more conservative challengers. I am watching MA-2 Fleitman vs. Wesley.
Urquhart by 12 I think.
Maybe you are thinking of the Delaware Senate race. This is House.
We have nothing to due with Rangel’s being danger. He’s in danger in the rat primary. His distict is one of the least Republican in the country. Over 90% rat. It would elect Hitler before it would elect a Republican.
By “due” I meant “do”
Maryland "Freak State" PING!
I noticed Gilchrest decided to chime in again and endorsed Fisher. Don’t think it’ll go much good after Gilchrest admitted voting for Obama in 08.
No. I stand by what I said. Carney has such a large lead as of the last poll I saw to make this seat impossible. Look who he is replacing. A full fledged statist Castle. As for the Senate, O’Donnell may benefit if no D’s vote because Carney is a lock and they think she is unelectable. May help R turnout.
Just went and double checked races and think I was looking at wrong race. I shall banish myself from the site for an appropriate time as punishment. Probably 5 or 10 minutes.
