Exactly! And he wouldn't back Sarah because that would be going against the GOP establishment.

I HOPE AZ voters vote him out. I think the GOP is quiet because there is a backroom strategy going on to nominate one of their own, again, in 2012. They hate the TeaParty and what has been going on and now with Christine winning, they can't hold it in. They NEED to keep things status quo - if a true conservative gets in the GOP establishment is over.

He stayed in because he had a leftover piggy bank from his presidential run. He blew 21 million as a four term senator to beat back a challenger who had only 3 million to spend. When people talk about how he smoked the competition it is important to know he bought it by burying his opposition 6 to one in airtime and still lost over 40% of his own party.
He knows he is toast and this is his last hurrah. Have you noticed his wife and daughter-fellow travelers in liberalism-were quiet until now?
He'll snap back like a rubber band to be the same old same old. But with enough in the House at least he won't do too much damage.
