Jennifer Cabranes, Roberto Braceras

Jennifer Cabranes and Roberto Maria Braceras, lawyers in Boston, were married yesterday in New Haven. The Rev. Francis Aaron Laushway performed the ceremony at the Roman Catholic Church of St. Mary.

Mrs. Braceras, 29, is an associate at Ropes & Gray. Mr. Braceras, 27, is a trial attorney in the criminal division of the Justice Department. The bride graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and received a law degree from Harvard University. Mr. Braceras graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and received a law degree from Yale University.

The bride’s mother, Susan Feibush Saccio of North Haven, Conn., is a clinical social worker for the Child Guidance Clinic of Greater Waterbury. The bride’s father, Judge Jose A. Cabranes of New Haven, sits on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York. The bride is a stepdaughter of Dr. Joseph D. Saccio, who practices psychiatry in New Haven, and of Kate Stith, a professor at the Yale University Law School in New Haven.
