Kissinger: Gassing Jews would not be a US problem

‘If they put Jews into gas chambers in the Soviet Union, it is not an American concern.’ secretary of state heard telling Nixon on 1973 tape.

WASHINGTON – Henry Kissinger is heard saying the genocide of Soviet Jews would not be an American problem on newly released tapes chronicling President Nixon’s obsession with disparaging Jews and other minorities.

Kissinger’s remarks come after a meeting between the two men and former prime minister Golda Meir on March 1, 1973, in which Meir pleads for US pressure on the Soviet Union to release its Jews.

The men dismiss her plea after Meir leaves.

“The emigration of Jews from the Soviet Union is not an objective of American foreign policy,” The New York Times on Saturday quoted Kissinger, then secretary of state, as saying on the tapes. “And if they put Jews into gas chambers in the Soviet Union, it is not an American concern. Maybe a humanitarian concern.”

Thank you God that Ronald Reagan did not subscribe to the attitudes of Nixon or Kissinger! We wouldn’t ahve Natan Sharansky!

For a bit of perspective, I’d like to present part of the late Yitzhak Rabin’s comment on recent US presidents:

“Reagan was good, Carter was terrible, but Nixon...that man saved Israel.”

Just as at Peking, Nixon proved able to alter old perceptions to new realities. In this case, earlier anti-Semitic tendencies were overridden in the need to save Israel during the Yom Kippur War. While there was much to genuinely dislike about Nixon, he had the strength of character to do what his reason told him needed to be done.

It's penicillin ~ that's why those critics are living on into the future.

Without it they'd mostly be dead and gone by now ~ like normal people in the good old days.

Dementia may well explain why they've moved on to create a cottage industry criticizing the Palin kids.

Todd should be encouraged to send them brand new very sharp stainless steel ULUs to play with. You flip one of those things around a few times without training and you'll be short members.

It needs updating. This article was published in 1996.

This man is from Kissinger’s generation, born in January of 1926. He served in the Marines in WWII, is in the country music hall of fame and is STILL PERFORMING as he approaches his eighty fifth birthday.

A real American hero in my book.

He always was a cold-blooded bastard.

Henry the K was the man who once said, “The military is composed of stupid animals who are only useful for implementing foreign policy.”

Of course there is this memorable quote about Henry by one Lyndon Larouche, of all people: “Kissinger has the morals of a Bulgarian pederast.”

Many years ago, back in the seventies IIRC, I was up late one night with a case of insomnia and happened to see some preacher on TV who seemed to have about a third grade education. He was going through the most convoluted illustration you can imagine to prove that Henry Kissinger is the anti-christ. It was akin to some of Farakhan’s insanity but he made Farakhan sound like a doctor of philosophy. He never did state a conclusion, posing it instead as a question, “Is Henry Kissinger the anti-christ?” He left no doubt as to what his own conclusion was. I wish I had a video of that, it was surreal. Meanwhile Kissinger himself seems bent on proving that he would have to develop a conscience before moving UP to being the anti-christ.

If someone put Henry Kissinger in a gas chamber, it would be about 40 years late.

No kidding!! One of the most evil men to ever live, and that's before I even knew about this latest quote.

Yes, I did read the whole article and I know it is not referenced and may NOT be 100% but it has some good information about Soros and Kissinger that may not be common knowledge. As for the Bush and North comments, they are from a speech by Gonzalez, nothing more.

Feel free to post about DNC and Soros all you want.

Updating?

Oliver North was not trading drugs with the Sandinistas.

That was Roger Clinton and
Barry Seal.

It was DNC Lead Attorney Richard Ben-Veniste who just happened to be Barry Seal's attorney who bragged to
the WSJ that he had dumped Roger Clintons drug running partner in Arkansas into George H. Bush's lap.

The article is propaganda and more to the point BS.

Thanks for providing the context of the times for Kissinger's remarks.

BTW, people who don't think Nixon was Conservative enough to meet our modern standards, just remember that the pukes who are attacking the Palin children are the same crowd who attacked Nixon.

Yes, it's that same snotty "we're proud to be on the enemies list" crowd that sees Palin and her family as hopelessly gauche, and not worthy of the Beltway.

There are times when I feel a Bastille Moment coming on and darkly wish to see some aristocratic heads roll.

“may NOT be 100”

Read it again.
It is a hit piece on Margret Thatcher, George Bush,
Oliver North and even Ronald Reagan.

Democrats accusing conservatives of what their doing.

Some of us know better.
Communist propaganda.

Ok. Some of that happened at a time in my life when I wasn’t able to pay enough attention to such things. Thanks for the correction. Makes me wonder how much of the article is factual.
