As I posted on another thread, I’m just glad The Heritage Foundation dropped out of the CPAC conference. I support them and they never seem to disappoint me.

I’ve been looking up more about Grover Norquist at FrontpageMag.

It seems he converted when he married his Palestinian wife in the nineties. He’s predictably coy when asked what his religion is and he has his hand in all the usual muzzie agent-of-influence organizations.

Hasan added that her own son, Muhammad Ali Hasan, just ran for statewide office in Colorado as a Republican, but switched to the Democratic Party after encountering anti-Muslim "bigotry" at a GOP convention.

For the record, Hasan also took heat for his playboy image and his social liberalism. Though at the convention, I wasn't close enough to hear any of this alleged bigotry. There were some wacky "pro-Israel" e-mail rumors going around, which should not have been sent.

Hasan also has been examining the demographics and has decided the GOP is doomed in the long-term. His change of party is in part a career move, especially if he remains out in California.

He is a creative fellow, but I'm not sure his political instincts will lead him to success. Becoming a mascot for "anti-Islamophobia" liberals might be a way for him to advance, but it's a pretty disreputable move IMO.
