I think there is more here than meets the eye. I went on this foundation’s web page and found some interesting tidbits. Tickets for this event (the first annual “gala”) went on January 17th at $185. On January 30th they dropped the price by $15, and earlier this week the ticket price was dropped again by 50%. It would not surprise me to learn that ticket sales were so poor they couldn’t afford Palin’s fees, so this story was concocted so both Palin and this foundation could save face. I’m a cynic, so flame away...
That makes a lot more sense than “cancelled for rhetoric” does.
Isn’t it convenient that two of FR resident PDS somehow tries to blame Sarah for this, thinking it’s maybe her fault in some way!! What a bunch L****
I also think there’s a lot more to this story. With ticket prices for the event dropping so substantially, it would not be surprising that the event was cancelled for poor ticket sales. I don’t think it has anything to do with security as no actual threats have occurred.
Oh, my. I had considered poor ticket sales as a possible real reason, but I chose a more charitable excuse. Thanks for looking into it.
When did you check the ticket prices?

The event is not until May. You have plenty of time to sell tickets.
