Just on Voter fraud in several key states will get him in for a second term. Soros has been building influence with the Secretaries of State for as many States as he thinks he needs to control the elections from her on in.

Well, I guess its all over then, wmileo. Since the 2012 election is already wrapped up for 0bama I guesswe don't have to turn out to vote...is that what you are saying?

...costing me $80 per fill up.

I don’t trust him. They know that the price of oil is easily maneuverable(even though they deny it). In the futures/speculative market, all they have to do is announce some phony plan to allow drilling and the prices will free-fall.

If he times if for the summer of ‘12 and gas pries go down to $2, the voters will thank him for it. Even though they’ve been soaked for 3 years.

I was listening to the Ben Ferguson show last night and I wish you could have heard the callers blast Ben for “talking bad” about the president. OMG.....it really does scare me to think there are that many people out there....that are so uneducated about what is happening.

Ben asked one lady to give him ONE example of how the president has helped our country in domestic issues. He asked her the same question....7 times. Needless to say when she could not answer, she called Ben a racist and hung up. Next person he asked.....cussed him out and hung up....one woman caller was so angry about the way Bush has us at war....and how we draft those poor young men to be killed. Draft?....Ben tried to explain...Bush is not the president and we do not have a draft in this country, but she was not understanding...needless to say, she hung up too when Ben pressed her to give him ONE example of anything good the president has done for our country. The calls like that went on and on and the callers all thought BHO was the best thing since sliced bread.

I am absolutely worried this clown of a president could get voted in for a second term. The mentality of the uneducated still think it is Bush’s fault [and the repubs] that gas prices are so high.....you can “fill in the blank” with anything else bad happening. THEIR votes cancel out the educated votes......

....and gas prices.......I would be almost happy if all it cost was $50 to fill up my vehicles. Between having full size vehicles and having to cut about 6 acres of grass.....gas is gonna kill me this summer. ugh.....

Japan uses 9 percent

I read that thinking, no, that is too high. Let me get the real numbers.

So I went to the International Energy Agency where member countries numbers are published.

I was correct in that the numbers are wrong. But I was wrong in thinking how. The percentage is too LOW.

The last year available is 2008. Oil was used to produce 14% of their electrical energy.

Electricity Total: 998,719 GWh

Production from:
- coal.......288,253....28.9%
- oil..........139,171....13.9%
- gas.........283,153....28.4%
- biomass......15,079.....1.5%
- waste........7,309.....0.7%
- nuclear.....258,128....25.8%
- hydro*........83,295.....8.3%
- geothermal.....2,752.....0.3%
- solar PV.......2,251.....0.2%
- solar thermal.....0.....0.0%
- wind..........2,623.....0.3%
- tide..................0.....0.0%
- other sources....0.....0.0%

I need to share my mistake from last week with you.

I did not understand how much oil Japan uses to generate electricity. They are likely to see an increase in oil consumption due to electrical generation.

Last week I was trying to convince you they were going to go down. This makes me doubt that.

if the media told the truth about Petrobas, SOros giving millions, obama on vacations, this is not a business deal except make Soros money and why is the mother in law and the family there on our dime?
If the media told the truth from the get go we would not have had this phony in power.
If the media told the truth over obama, the commmnist groups rallying with teachers etc

If the media told the truth then obama would be screwed

it;s a great scam

Soros buys millions of dollars of shares in Petrobas the Brazilian oil company
The world is in turmoil and obama declares war on Libya ignoring the constitution.
Obama then say’s to Brazil we’ll get more oil off you and Soros stands to make billions thus more money for obama to get elected

Now where is the media or the left protesting this illegal war, ?
Where is the GOP demanding that he get back here and sort this new war out?
When will this corrupt media tell the frigging truth for once and stop covering for their messiah.?

"Well, I guess its all over then, wmileo."

It is never over. We just have to know what we are facing. Shine a light on this current situation and see what choices the people will make to fight this. It won't be easy, that's all.

No problem, Thackney. You bring a lot of factual information to this forum so its OK if you are having second thoughts about Japan's electic generation.

I was listening to a guy on CNBC Asia last night he was totally convinced that Japan will use more oil for electricity until they can bring on additional capacity from other sources. It will be interesting to see how fast they can amke some permanent changes to their electric supply as they will already be very busy rebuilding many of the cities and busniesses in the northeast part of the country.

There's a pretty simple solution for Oblama, think about 2008, pump prices peaked in the summer, tanked the economy and tanked McStain. But a year later (summer 2009) he was riding high and ramming through health care and other crap. Then 2010 the "recovery summer" fizzled and he lost the mid-terms.

Now all he needs to do is pump the prices higher for 2011 and let them tumble into 2012 and breeze (well maybe not breeze but stroll) into reelection. Pumping prices higher now is dirt simple, just arrange for lots of unrest in Saudi, pick another Libya-type country to bomb, etc. Remember that all he needs now is an outrageously high bubble to get a massive pop and correction for next year that will cause an undershoot and cheap oil and gasoline which he will take credit for.

I would expect (not the same as know) that higher fuel cost generation like natural gas and oil (compared to coal and nuclear) would be used for the higher demand peak periods like the summer.

At this time of the year, utility systems typically have a lot of spare capacity, if they are not down for scheduled maintenance. Kicking on the Natural Gas peakers and oil burners would be a very fast way to replace lost nuclear power to the overall grid.

But summer is coming and coming fast in relationship to the lead time of a new power plant.

Natural Gas turbine, simple cycle, are the fastest power plants to build. But three months from the decision would be very, very tough to meet.

Anybody got some barge mounted power plants they want to rent? I suspect Japan will pay top dollar for them in a few months. Enron was actually planning these for South America more than a decade ago. In financially unstable countries, it was a way to invest and hopefully be able to pull them back out if the dollars stopped.

Ah, sounds like you’ve figured it out. And of course, just in case something goes wrong, they’ll have Comrad “Mitt” as the opposition.

Yes! Don’t forget “You can’t drive your SUVs” and “Sure you can build a coal plant...but I’ll bankrupt you if you do.” Did America’s brain-dead electorate think he was just kidding us?

It is not easy. Most of my relatives still blame BUSH for everything.

Good cause and effect story, but it assumes that obama gives a damn. His media will always cover for him.
