(Mashable) -- More than 100,000 people have signed an online petition calling for Apple to remove an app from the iTunes store that was created by an anti-gay Christian organization.
Exodus International, which according to its website has ministries that "provide support for individuals who want to recover from homosexuality," released the app on February 15.
The app has a 4+ approval rating from the Apple app store, and the organization is quick to point out that this rating is reserved for those apps that "contain no objectionable material."
Gay rights activists obviously disagree.

Homosexuals want to be free to do what they want to do, without criticism and without judgment, but they don’t want other people to have the same privileges.
Another reason why I can’t stand Apple or it’s liberal fan base; the 1st Amendment and religious beliefs are something to abuse.
Yours is the perfect response so I don’t need to say anything.
Change.org was working on this. I had signed a petition once from them and then started getting liberal propaganda. That was one issue. I unsubscribed immediately. Not exactly grass roots.
If the gays don’t want it, then they shouldn’t buy it. Many gay people would love to be cured.
According to the article Apple didn’t take it down, yet. They removed one last year though for a mere 7,000 signatures.
If you want on or off the Mac Ping List, Freepmail me.
so if they don’t want it then don’;t get it but if homosexuals do then they can get it.
As for the signatures , I bet it is a mass e-mail campaign sent to all loony websites and queer ones asking people to sign it.
Many homosexuals have been cured and this is one way for them to get help.
it seems those who are still getting off in a very unnatural way don’t want others to be cured and that speaks volumes about these people.
Apple hasn’t banned it yet.
However, Apple refuses porn in the app store. The other platforms welcome it. The Apple app store is very tame.
You should just be able to say you can’t stand Apple without having to find a lame excuse.
Exodus is not anti-homosexual. It simply acknowledges the obvious fact that many homosexuals don't want to stay that way, and are willing to get help to recover.
Anti-recovery homosexuals are the only disease population who seek to prevent others from purely voluntary treatment for their own illness. Sort of like drunks who smirk at AA.
Your comment in #8 and on previous threads is getting really obnoxious. Why do you have a problem with people criticizing your constant promotion of Apple products? It’s getting old.
Which is odd considering if you type "Gay" in the app store, you get slathered with pro Gay apps for hooking up.
Apple....what a bunch of hypocrites.
They DO have to cater to their audience, though.
There’s nohing gay about being a perverted sodomite.

The other platforms have the same and worse audience.
Jobs says there will never be porn in the app store. No other platform can say that.
Do you approve of homosexuality?
Apple is not liberal. It is a computer company that makes good stuff. The app store is for others to sell/give away their work products and ideas. It would be inappropriate for Apple to deny the Exodus app... though the faggot minority will surely scream!
lol...well....no “Porn” per se....but there’s a ton of gay “social club” apps
