Confession of the Oklahoma City Bomber: John Doe 2 Exists
The American Thinker ^ | April 11, 2011 | Jayna Davis

Posted on 04/11/2011 3:26:23 AM PDT by Scanian

The conviction of American terrorists, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, symbolizes the FBI's crown jewel of criminal prosecutions. So why do questions linger? Does the official account of what transpired on April 19, 1995 reveal all that certain federal investigators know? In the wake of the 1995 bombing, national polls showed 80 percent of Americans believed additional conspirators evaded capture. Today, as the 16th anniversary approaches, the prospect of shadowy terrorists walking free still pervades the country's psyche. This time, however, the FBI itself is fueling the flames of public distrust.

Last week the vault of top-secret bombing evidence cracked open. The Department of Justice, responding to Freedom of Information Act requests, released a declassified report detailing the May 26, 2005 interrogation of Terry Nichols. According to the record, Nichols broke his decade-long silence, acknowledging his hands-on role in constructing the massive truck bomb that demolished the Oklahoma City Murrah Building. While this revelation was all but academic, what Nichols said next threatens to rewrite history.

During the interview, the convicted bomber unleashed a startling admission: John Doe 2 exists. The FBI report states, "Nichols advised that John Doe 2's name had not been mentioned during the (FBI) investigation, and therefore, he feared for his life and his family's well-being should it become public."

One seemingly innocuous statement in this recently declassified FBI memo effectively shatters the government myth that two angry white males singlehandedly pulled off the crime of the 20th century. To begin, Nichols clearly implied that he knew the identity of John Doe 2 when asserting that his co-conspirator's name "had not been mentioned" during the prodigious FBI investigation. Keep in mind, the bomber had direct access to sealed court files and classified discovery materials that federal prosecutors were legally required to disclose to his defense lawyers

Yeah, last night someone posted a provocative though innocuous piece exploring "knowledge of Salvation," and some nitwit had it pulled within minutes.

I thought that determining what we could or could not discuss was either the right of "We The People," or the Divine Right of Eric Holder and Barrack O'Bunghole.

Never thought I'd see "conservatives" playing at Galag Oberstührmfuhrer. Oh well.

Ja wöhl!!!

It’s all one party. I really believe that. On rare occasions, someone from “outside” becomes a national political figure — and we’ve seen what they’ve tried to do to Sarah Palin: both parties went to war against her, because she threatens to rock the boat.

In the bombing live news coverage, two more huge bombs(piles of explosives) were found in the building unexploded and evacuation of rescue workers was done twice. I saw/heard it live! Now, the info has disappeared and fire and police were sworn to secrecy. Something always smelled bad in the handling. Of course, the govt got their “White man Christian” terrorists, who just happened to be connected to Iraqi operatives.

Look at all of the idiotic religious "caucus" threads. People want their own little sandbox to play in where no dissenting thought shall intrude. No surprise this mentality leaks out into the main forum.

While I'm firmly against brutal, unprovoked ad hominem, we should have a thick enough skin to take some criticism without running to mommy to make the big meany stop. And sometimes the unknown mods are all too willing to drop the hammer.

The rules here are too arbitrary and capricious at times, but what are you going to do about it? It's JR's forum and he can kick us out if he doesn't like the way we do anything here. Somehow I've managed to fly under the radar for a decade. :)

One need not “dig” to see something was pretty unusual. How many capital convictions are carried out in MONTHS?

Yes, much like how they had 8 years to secure the borders and failed miserably or went on a spending orgy that would make a Democrat blush (until Obama put them all to shame). If one were of the conspiratorial mindset, one might think that the two parties really work for the same goal, just from slightly different angles.

While I freely admit that it is not, if this were my political website, religious threads would have their own private "room," if they were allowed at all. The two most potentially disasterous topics as meat tossed before the wolves are politics and religion. Like gas and flame, they are not a combination conducive to civil discourse or rational behavior.

I won't claim to have "flown under the radar"... "Gargantua" is my seventh or eighth login appellation (Big Stank Ho, America's Conscience, Henry David Perot, to name just a few I've inhabited since 1997-98) since starting here on FR. I tended to get kicked off every few months, back in my earlier, wilder years.

It seems clear that, over time, the Admin Mods change, as their styles of "rule" and levels of tolerance have varied greatly over the years. I think the current AM is likely a woman, so many of the decisions made are so clearly hormonal, and seemingly driven by phases of the moon.

It also seems that the "rules" governing postings here are less-than-finite, as the last time I heard from the AM (four nights ago), he/she/it used profanity publicly in addressing me. Real pissy attitude, too.

Anyway, whoever they are, I don't envy them their job. At times I'm sure it's like being a screw in a prison for the mentally dranged, given how heated the political temperature can get over something so important as "whether Sarah Palin's daughter should have been on 'Dancing With The Stars.'" < sarcasm/off >

Then again, what kind of person even wants to be a screw in a psych ward? Kind of scary when you really think about it...

And don’t forget immediatly following the bombing, the FBI confiscated 8 - 10 tapes from video cameras mounted in the area that might have shed light on who parked the truck and who walked away from it.
These tapes although acknowledged by the FBI have never been released.

Jayna Davis is not a wingnut. She is a thoughtful, thorough, well known reporter who dug down where there government wouldn’t allow their own people to do, or if they did, to divulge it.

I firmly believe that there were muslims involved in this. That I believe that opens up a constellation of disconcerting conclusions about our government and its various agencies.

Her book has a clear ring of truth to it, where the government version does not.
