The Democrats will rue the day they decided to sue Arizona.

Undoubtedly Eric Holder’s Justice Department will sue to have the law overturned.

It should also be specific enough to pin the weasel down, for instance specifying that the document must include an address of birth or something that will ensure that the COLB fraud doesn’t pass muster.

Nah. Some leftist judge will simply overrule the law when passed. Naturally, they will not have the Constitutional AUTHORITY to DO so, but when has that ever stopped the left.

Get set for a constitutional crisis in America.

Oh, you mean the one we've been in for about 100 years since SCOTUS and the government decided to take a hard left turn and trash the Constitution?

It used to be very standard practice. Eisenhower submitted his B.C.

I think a lot of Americans feel as I do: Why not just submit the BC and be done with it. The Certificate of Live Birth is really not the same, plus that was submitted by the Obama campaign, leaving Obama legal wiggle room should it come back to haunt him. If he has nothing to hide, why wouldn't he open up all of his past history, from BC to college transcripts, for open inspection. Clearly, one does not spend a fairly large amount of money to sequester one's past unless there is something there he wants to hide. Until he does this, I and a lot of other voters, simply cannot trust him and I sure as hell wouldn't vote for him with this shroud of secrecy hanging over him.

...requirement that could be satisfied with the certificate of live birth that Hawaii is prepared to show for President Obama.

Wait a minute now. I thought Fukino said we couldn't see it.

I’ve read on hannity’s forum by Trip in the BC thread that the arizona laws defines NBC citizen as someone born in the US to one citizen parent. How convenient for Obummer. Don’t know if its true but if it is this is not good

Does the arizona law, if passed actually make obama show a long form or will the short form be passable?
There was some controversy about thsi before.

Does anyone know?

in addition to this law, AZ should keep bambi off of the PRIMARY ballot. That would move the issue up to the spring where there is time for the courts to deal with it.

The courts will grant a stay on this law and it will be in the courts until after NOV ‘12.

It will only take a single state having a proof of eligibility law in effect for that state’s presidential primary will derail BHO’s ability to run for a second term.

If a law is in effect, look for either BHO to find a plausible reason to not run for a second term, or look for his supporters to throw up the world’s largest storm of organic refuse in an attempt to intimidate that state into not enforcing the law.

We will see how this all plays out very shortly.

Given the number of States that are involved in litigation to nullify ObamaCare (tm), we are close to the number of States necessary to calling a Constitutional Convention. I am of the mind that the day may come when the risk of a Convention sufficiently outweighs the risks of the present relationship between the increasingly dangerous federal government and the States and the people.

This issue is clearly not going away. That in itself is a major obstacle to Obama. I'm not saying it will be easy, but the truth will come to light.
