Palin to GOP: Fight like a Girl (An instant classic)
Politico ^ | 4-16-2011 | ANDY BARR

Posted on 04/16/2011 1:56:01 PM PDT by quesney

Sarah Palin unleashed a withering critique of congressional Republicans Saturday, lambasting them for not cutting spending deeper and faster, and saying the party needs to “fight like a girl.”

"We didn’t elect you just to rearrange the deck chairs on a sinking Titanic," Palin said during a rally in front of the Wisconsin statehouse in Madison. "What we need from you, GOP, is to fight." Pointing to the national champion University of Wisconsin women's hockey team, Palin said the GOP could learn from its resolve and “needs to learn how to fight like a girl."

That’s the whole point. Concerned people get it. It’s the idiots who voted for Obama because they didn’t know any better that worry me.

There has never been an election in our history where a sitting president was more in need of replacement. We have to get it right. Hopefully I’m being oversensitive but in today’s media-sensitive age, it is a concern I have.

I’m probably older than you, but that is my hope and plan as well. North to Alaska ... I mean to DC for inaugeration.

I don't care what the polls say, she would DESTROY Obama, she would fill stadiums with rabid fans.

I agree with you (I think...)

Here was my post at 105 in this thread:

The problem, as I see it, is that If you discount what Trump has said over the last week, he has all the conservative credibility of any of the politicians in Ayn Rand’s novel “Atlas Shrugged”. He gives money to people like Rahm Emanuel and thinks government run healthcare is a great idea.

If he becomes a candidate, you can bet a year’s salary that the MSM is going to pump him up for all it is worth. They will even ignore the Dems in the primary to give air and print time to Trump. The Republican primary will be a knockdown, drag out bloodletting with Trump getting the nomination.

After that, Trump’s liberal leanings and two faced stands over the years will be the story.

I hear what you are saying, but it could well come down to casting a vote for Trump or Obama. And that is not a position I want to be in. If he wants to savage Obama on any and all issues, I am fine with that, but it will be a disaster if he is in the primary.

What is amazing is that I was honestly TOTALLY against a woman president before she came on the scene.

I know... but for what ever reason I just couldn't get my head around the idea of a woman being president...

UNTIL I SAW PALIN give that convention speech. I was an instant fan, and haven't stopped loving her since.

She is the ONLY politician in my lifetime that I have even come close to idolizing (including Reagan, who grew on my with time long after he was actually president)

Speculation only: The dog served it’s purpose and is no longer needed to build the image. Ergo, dog in crate in basement until polls show need to bring the little beastie out again.

Well...that is why they are so damned frightened of her. The LIBS know what she is capable of. All the heat she gets from the media? To paraphrase what they used to say in the AAF in WWII: “If you’re getting flack, you must be over the target!”

They are afraid of her, because they know she can move people.

“...I hear what you are saying, but it could well come down to casting a vote for Trump or Obama...And that is not a position I want to be in.”

My point - we may not a choice in the matter when it comes ‘round.

The Fraud needs to be removed - we cannot afford four more years of this assclown - the country will tear itself to pieces.

IF Trump gets the nod, what do we do? Not vote? That guarantees four more of the the dicatator wannabe, and the only hope we’ll have is IF we retake the Senate and increase the House.

Trump may be a putz in a lot of ways (and I’m not stumping for him) but at least he’s an American capitalist first, and in a strange way I think he wants to do right by the country - he SEEMS really pissed at what the Fraud has done to the economy.

I don’t know, brother. I do NOT have an answer for this...

I DO know that we can’t take four more years of this assclown.

I know. Most people I know will vote for a dog turd instead of Obama. I know I will.

At the very least, a dog turd will just lay there and stink, instead of laying there, stinking, taxing the hell out of us, raising the deficit and imposing nanny-state legislation on us in a concerted effort to destroy a country he hates.

We need to fix our country and we need more than a dog turd!
