When 9-11 took place, Muslim spokesmen in America and elsewhere (as well as their non-Muslim apologists), assured us that Osama did not represent "real Islam". They told us that Osama's actions made him anti-Islamic and a non-Muslim.
If the above is true, then why was Osama given a Muslim burial? America had every right to wrap his body in pig skins, accompanied by strips of bacon and pork chops. How could Muslims have complained, when they assured us that Osama does not represent Islam?
In any case, doesn't giving Osama a Muslim funeral increase his chances of going to the Muslim heaven? Osama should burn in hell for his crimes. America should never have given him a funeral that would enable him to get his 72 virgins. If jihadis learn that America provides proper Muslim funerals, there will be no disincentives to prevent them from attacking America.

This mock funeral will not appease them and it makes us look weak, submissive. they should have brought his body back here displayed then cremated it and scattered at a unknown location.

Burial at sea is not allowed unless the death occurs at sea and a land burial is not possible by the next sundown after death occurs.

The part I appreciate the most is that he was dumped within 3 hours, the body still being warm and more attractive to the plentiful sharks in the area.

I don't see the big deal in this. If anything, it says more about us that we'd give even the worst SOB in the world some form of religious "respect" that those people whould not give to those of us that they kill.
better yet- if this d-bag was a Christian or Catholic would he have been given last rights or a customary Christian burial??

I would buy a dog and train it to ‘visit’ the Osama grave every day of its life.
This is the question I have been asking.
Here’s what I have said on other posts re: Osams’a Muslim funeral:
I would have released videos of his body from every angle, and made it publicly available.
Then I would have had OBL’s body fed to pigs with full videotape of that process. Then when the Muslims and the American left complain, my public position would be:
“Well, he couldn’t have been a Muslim, because Islam is a peaceful religion. And since he wasn’t a Muslim, we do this as a message to all the other Jihadist non-Muslims that they have no hope ever of being in Paradise, unlike all you true peaceful Muslims who now can celebrate this murderous pretender’s death with us.”
I would also state that it shall be US policy that Jihadist terrorists are not Muslims, and will not be treated as such either in death, or after being captured alive.
That’s why waterboarding was invented.
