"Also, if she loses – either the nomination race or against Obama – she will seriously tarnish her credibility. America will forgive many things, but a two-time loser? Not so much. Better to be a might-have-been than a never-was.

Of course, she may surprise us all. Perhaps Palin will jump in to a contest in which she will be the undoubted rockstar. But my wager is no. She'll keep everyone guessing for a while longer and then join the list of Republican big names who have already decided to sit out this fight."

Sorry, I forgot the barf alert.

Here’s more pukeage from the article....

She has little appetite for the nitty-gritty hardcore campaigning in Iowa and New Hampshire that the genuinely committed candidates – like Romney, Tim Pawlenty, New Gingrich and Rick Santorum – are already doing and which lasts for months on end.

Smart money says Rove will trot out Jeb Bush as the RINO savior and Daniels as VP. In that case I vote Libertarian.

Of course, I have no crystal ball to tell me if Sarah is going to run or not, but I do have my theories.

If she's planning it, she is playing it smart. She's standing in the wings watching the prospects fall like birds in a windmill farm.

She's listening to what they say, and how it resonates with both the people, and the media.

She sees the reaction everytime someone claiming to be a conservative says something "profound" and sheepish Americans start wanting that one-hit wonder to be president all of a sudden.

Why shouldn't she wait as long as possible? Wait until the others have spent loads of money, exposed all of their skeletons, and stepped on their own tongues?

She can then announce, come riding in fresh, and say all the right things while staying away from the words that are knocking out her opponents.

While the rest of the field will be hung up in repetitive rhetoric and will have let enough cats out of the bag to provide fodder for the press, she will ride into town on a fresh horse, with new things to say, and the enthusiam of someone who is not travel worn.

There's not much remaining that the left and the MSM hasn't already hurled at her, and she's got about two years experience handling the barbs, slings, and arrows. She won't be "couric'd" this time around.

Watching her on interviews and speeches, she seems to know as much about the Consitition, foreign policy, and such as any of the other candidates, and she is far ahead of all of them on ENERGY...which is a very, big deal to Americans.

I believe she will be an up-front, honest, and hard working president and will have no fear of her enemies, foreign or domestic.

I don't know that if there is anything to it, but if that is her plan, it's pretty smart.

Palin really does show no sign at all that she’s running, and wishing won’t make it so. Someone here yesterday or the day before told me she’s got her PAC and a website up, but so do a great many politicians. PACs are to pols what charitable foundations and trusts are to wealthy people. Although they let the principle channel funds to causes and candidates of their choice, PACs and trusts are really nothing more than tax shelters.

The surest sign that Palin is unlikely to run is that she’s not building an organization state by state to handle the myriad things that go into an effective ground game. Could she change her mind? Sure, but the hour is growing late.

Her credibility will take a good hit is she doesn't run.

She will not run - she knows that she cannot win, in my view. She’s just way too far right to attract some democrats and independents to put her over the top - sad, but true.

Although, I’m thinking that anyone should be able to beat Obama in a perfect world.

Sarah has received so much bad press that she has been damaged in the eyes of many voters, other than we conservatives. Her facebook network has provided the public a good look at her persona and positions, those have bothered to follow it.

Personally, I would like to see her hold off. The job now is to get a Republican into the WH, even if we don't get everything we want.

At that point we need to pressure the R president to appoint Sarah to an important cabinet position. Then in 16 or 20 turn the big house over to her. I won't be around to see it but will celebrate none the less!!!

She won’t run unless she thinks she can win the general election.

She most likely would not want the 2nd Obama term pinned on herself only.

I don't put any faith in the opinions of a writer for a left-wing British newspaper. No one knows what Sarah Palin will do but many conservatives hope she'll run in 2012. In my opinion, Palin is the only conservative in the bunch. Most are either RINOs or, like former 'potential GOP presidential candidate' Donald Trump, oddities with no chance of winning. As many FReepers have pointed out before, the left hates and fears Sarah Palin - and that tells me a lot. She has much going for her, including charisma, which none of the current 'front-runners' seem to possess. I believe that Palin could raise huge amounts of money quickly, should she declare her candidacy. The media myth that only a small band of hard-core conservatives want Sarah Palin as the 2012 Republican presidential candidate is absurd. She sells millions of books and easily fills large venues when she makes an appearance. I believe the American public is scared and angry at what the 'historic' president has done to the U.S. economy and how he has negatively affected the lives and futures of millions of Americans.

Sarah Palin is 'authentic' and can energize people. I believe that voters are desperate for an honest and positive president, not another dull, dreary RINO or the now-discredited Obama. Yes, Palin has been endlessly smeared by the leftmedia and will continue to be smeared, even by trolls on FR. She can surmount that and take her case to the people, doing end-runs around the leftist media out to destroy her. If she declines to run, her political influence will evaporate. Whether she cares about that is not mine to know but as a lifelong fighter and staunch patriot, I cannot imagine Sarah Palin slinking away from the opportunity to get rid of the worst president in modern history. Telling Palin to wait until 2016 or 2020 is another way of pretending that some RINO can beat Obama and the country can just bounce back from where he has brought it. That is unrealistic. If Sarah Palin wants to run for president, this is her time. I hope she does and if so, I'm confident that she'll win.

1. Reagan was a two-time loser.

If Palin was not going to run she would have honorably said so already. She would not screw the potential field by leaving it unsaid.

The smart money says Sarah Palin won't run in 2012

The "smart money" said outsourcing, offshoring, foreign visa workers, and open borders, etc., would be beneficial to the US economy. The national debt has boomed to $15 Trillion, and the looming economic collapse is looking to be the New Dark Age.

The "smart money" should be hanged, no less.
