"Palin nailed the facts as documented in Revere's letter to Dr. Jeremy Belknap."
No, she did not nail the facts. That letter described how Revere told the British that there would be 500 Americans waiting for them as a result of his efforts. He told them this after having been captured, held at gun point and asked for information. He had no initial intention of getting caught and certainly had no intentions to tell the British what our troop strength was, though he was probably feeding them misinformation to give them pause. Basically, he was NOT warning the British. You simply do not warn the enemy in a time of war. If he was doing so, he would have been a traitor, rather than the hero we revere today.

That would make sense, the family has to get back to WORK, a concept foreign to Northeastern red-diaper doper trust fund babies;)

I can’t believe how many FReepers are taing this “speculation” seriously. Sarah will do what she will do, and jealous Jill will just have to wait and see. Sarah doesn’t owe Jealous Jill a gosh darn thing.

That strategery worked out great for Fred Thompson. Fred Thompson lost because he didn't want to be President and was a lousy, lazy campaigner.

And although that was my 50th birthday, this makes for a pretty new FReeper.

Well, I'm glad we got your opinion. How soon would satisfy you? Sarah could declare her candidacy on Christmas Eve, and she'd have $25 million by New Years Day.I'm sure I'm equally glad to have your opinion about mine. I don't doubt she'd have the level of support you're mentioning. It would be good for her to announce soon though, because there's already been one Republican debate with several declared candidates. I expected her to run, and to declare soon - at the conclusion of her bus tour, if not during. So, if the story is true, I don't understand what she's doing, as I stated. It's as simple as that.

Thank you for the civics lesson.

Oh..and by the way, I can’t help thinking that next time we will see the bus it will have a giant Sarah Palin poster on it - Sarah Palin for President. They are working on it as we speak. I like that thought :-)

IMO she is gracefully exiting the spotlight so as not to take anymore attention away from other Repub candidates. If she were going to run I don't think she would end the tour early. I agree, and maybe that's what she's doing. If the story is true, I don't think she would end her tour either if she were planning on declaring her candidacy.

Im from the State of Washington and salmon fish are very important up in this region. I believe Todd has fishing rights and must use them regularly. No doubt it is a part of his familys diet and income.

Exactly. I think that Sarah has spoken in the past about how important hunting is to her family in the same way.

You really think that her detractors need her to declare in order to attack her? It's like attacking smoke when they do. That strategery worked out great for Fred Thompson.
Sarah Palin is no Fred Thompson.

I live in Missouri. In order to be in our primary:
Candidate Filing Period:
Begins 8:00 a.m. on October 25, 2011
Ends 5:00 p.m. on November 22, 2011
I'm not sure about other states.

“She IS running since 2 years!!!”
She has announced? Then no, she’s not running. You get an F for grammar, but an A for passion.
” If you dont see that then you are blind or not interested in Sarahs life and accomplishments.”
None of the above. I am a supporter of hers, I want the nominee to be named Palin, Cain or Bachmann, but I will never worship this woman as some of her supporters do; present company excepted of course.

Funny.... I don’t ever remember articles being written about Obama being a half term Senator...
Naaa... I am sure their were plenty and I just missed them!

No, it was a general comment that Moonbats must overlook her being right despite the evidence. The Reverand at the Old North Church was accused of “having bats in his belfry” because he supported Sarah’s comment on Revere’s ride. Thus he must be stupid too. He gave her the tour and gave the account of Revere’s ride. The actual question to Sarah was “what she she get out of the tour?”
