Decision day is rapidly approaching for Sarah Palin, and for the first time the former Alaska governor has indicated a time frame for when she will make a decision about whether to run for president.
"You know, August and September, you do have to start laying out a plan if you are to be one to throw your hat in the ring, so that's basically the time frame," Palin told Sean Hannity during an appearance Wednesday night on Fox News.

There is nothing about Perry's record to indicate he is a socialist. Texas has created almost half the jobs in the nation since Obama took office, run surpluses at times during Perry's term and budget has been balanced.
A mother who doesn’t throw a pregnant teen-age daughter out, a wife and attendance at a number of colleges are now qualifications for a good POTUS? When the heck did that happen?

And it would be sweet justice if Perry then picked Palin for VP and they won.
I think Perry and Palin are honestly at a horrible impasse. Neither wants the other to run, and both DO want to run. Just not against the other.
I'm also afraid this could have a disasterous outcome, depending which one DOES run. I can't see them both running, honestly. Its going to be one or the other.
I think Perry can absolutely win this thing. Not so sure about Palin. My fear is that Palin enters the race, Perry defers respectfully to her, and we get four more years of Obama.
I like Palin a BUNCH. Just afraid the media will harass her into a corner like before. Only with 10 times the ferocity. There's already a large part of the public that has serious questions about her. Same with Romney, but to a lesser degree. And Bachmann. Those are the front-runners. I don't know if the media would be able to drag Perry into the mud, the way they have already done with Palin.

The early entrants, the candidates who have already announced, remind me of the girl who did much more than just go out on the first date.
The pressure to "put out" on the first date was too much for them. (I hope that is not too racy for FR, but it also is a metaphor)
They spread lies about Bachmann straight from Daily Kaos or DU. Bachmann is assisting in putting Obamneycare’s lights out.
Also: notice the new tone in this thread; that if Perry picks Palin they will all of a sudden stop calling him RINO names!? Hypocrisy to the highest degree. I am in it to get Obama and the commiecrats out. I support all tea party candidates but they are fooling themselves and they don’t believe it that Palin is waiting on a Perry VP nod she isn’t going to get. Rubio most likely will. And they have already called him a RINO so the sick pattern of games will continue. I hope Palin does not run for office in Az. as rumored.She could help this country more as energy sec under Perry DRILL BABY DRILL!
Those are minor points, but valid when mixed with the other many positives.
I was responding to a post that mentioned Jeb Bush as VP to Perry. I was responding to the VP spot. I wasn’t talking about Perry. Sorry I wasn’t clear.

Last three presidential elections.. we elected a guy who could play a cool saxophone. After that we elected a guy we wanted to have a beer with. Then we elected a guy who can read a teleprompter blindfolded.
Palin would be a step up in our selection process. : )
