If there is no original that could certainly be interesting after zero released that supposed copy of the original. Wonder if there’s a fraud law to cover that. The implications are sort of mind boggling.

The implications are sort of mind boggling. Since he did not use the "document" to secure a passport, driver license, etc. I would assume that there is no legal fraud.
OTOH, in the court of public opinion - if proven to be a fabrication from "records", he would be toast ...

It’s called felony fraud ......or this case high crimes, treason. Whatever.
