Experts have ruled that birth certificate a forgery.

They can’t allow inspection of the original because there *is* no original, and whatever they put where it should have been will also be exposed.

I’m with others: there is no “original”. The reason for most of the anomalies in the released version are consistent with having been scanned, compressed, and stored using 1980’s document processing technology. The “original” was then destroyed to save space. No conspiracy, just misguided bureaucracy, technology and optimism.
