Key Republican on New Deficit Panel, Rep. Dave Camp, Won't Rule Out Tax Increases
CNBC.com breaking headline
I almost despise Boehner and his ilk as well. But with a quarter term in political office, Rep. West hasn’t exactly distinguished himself by his ‘titanium spine’.
I’m in favor of a 20% tax on all money wired from the U.S. to Mexico and Central America.
Let the illegal aliens get some skin in the game and pay their “fair share.”
Tax increases will put unemployment over 12%.
Everybody on that panel should walk into the room with that same attitude: we have a big problem, were going to find a way out of it, nothing has been ruled in or out.
“””
NObama appointed the Simpson committee—his own hand-picked persons & each & every idea they came up with, NObama rejected completely, with no discourse.
Who thinks this ‘Super Committee’ will get any better results?
This group of 8 has just been given an impossible task & got permanent targets painted onto their foreheads.
The Super Committee is now fully appointed and staffed up and will never be heard from again.
12%+ non-farm government payroll.
We will NEVER get back to solvency until SOMETHING is done to curb the spending.
Apparently the Republicans are "crisis"® oriented now too.

GOOD!
Then once and for all the TEA party can kick their big government a$$es out and finally show us some conservative governance LIKE WE VOTED FOR in 2010!!!
And you wanted to know why they are called the stupid party? Just like mitchie giving away the store before the negotiations even begin.
Good job, GOP. You just ended the remnants of the Republic.
After all, shouldn't everyone who shares in the benefits of this great country, participate in the pride and patriotism by supporting it with taxes? ;)
As usual the headline is at odds with what he actually said and the usual "Conservatives" are once again stamped into hysteric by the Progressive Fascist media.
No wonder you people continually get your political butts kicked. This is akin to going to Radio Berlin in 1942 to find out how the Allies war effort is doing.
Wow! Who woulda guessed we’d be sold out?
Anyone out there talking tax revolt yet?
“Great job, Boehner!!!”
That’s right. Camp is one of Boehner’s picks for that committee.
I’ve been thinking we all have to keep a watch on which of the RINO’s picks will be the ones that give away our country the most, Boehner’s, or McConnell’s.
I say that as McConnell actually picked a couple of pretty reasonable names while Boehner crippled the process with pure RINOisms.
I don’t see these people as really on our side.
Damn! Fell for it again!
This is a false claim from this article people.
S&P might just as well issue the next downgrade now. These folk aren't going to cut anything.
This makes me sick. If the GOP goes along with tax increases, they are dead as a party.
fortunately Pelosi’s picks are so hard-hard left this thing is going off the road and into the ditch
