The IDF attacked terror targets in Rafah in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, in response to a three-stage terrorist attack which killed seven Israelis and wounded dozens in the South earlier in the day.
Five Palestinians were killed in the joint IDF and Shin Bet strike.
Among those killed was the chief of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC), Kamal al-Nairab. The four others that were killed were also members of the terrorist faction .
Security sources said that the PRC was behind Thursday's triple attack near Eilat. They added that the operatives had crossed from the Gaza Strip into Egypt and then into Isreal this morning to carry out the attack.

Bullseye!
I’ve travelled on that road before, I was always afraid of terrorists. You’re on this lonely windy road with nothing but the occasional other car or bus.
from now on... when israel detects a rocket launch, a nine block area will be targeted to ensure that the terrorists do not escape.
the response will be immediate and the destruction total. colateral damage will be the responsibilility of the residence in the neighborhoods who allow this to happen from their communities.
we are sorry for any who is affected by this new response, but it will end such attacks in the future.
this is what i wish would happen...

They actually mentioned in the first few paragraphs the fact that the five killed were terrorists, or “members of a militant faction,” anyway.

U.S. investigates faction in Sinai”
By Eli Lake-The Washington Times Monday, August 22, 2011
SNIPPET: “A U.S. government assessment of the incident Thursday concludes that either the Palestinian group Popular Resistance Committees or the Gaza-based Army of Islam (or Jaish al Islam), a Palestinian group sympathetic to al Qaeda, carried out the commando assault and bombing raid that emanated from the increasingly lawless Sinai Peninsula.
One intelligence official who focuses on al Qaeda said an initial assessment identified a new group, al Qaeda in the Sinai Peninsula, as a key perpetrator of the attack.”
