Great. If he runs against the moderators, he’s got my vote.

All we need to do is figure out a way to put Newt’s brain in someone else’s body.

I actually thought Newt had a good night, especially when he stated clearly that the only thing that will fix this economy is a repeal of Obamacare.
And I loved when he accused the moderators of trying to protect Obama by having Republicans attack one another.

I’m no Newt fan, that’s for sure, but I thought he stole the show last night. Nobody can deny he is brilliant. Obongo could only dream of being 1/100th as smart as Newt.

Newt was Great!!!!!!!!!! He body slammed the two chump moderators and then turned around threw the Kenyan out of the ring. Newt deserves to get his face on a Slurpee Cup. Great stuff!

He’s clearly the smartest guy in the room. Which, in this world, makes him unqualified to be President (never mind his other baggage). That said, whoever the next Republican President is would do well to listen to Gingrich.

I never did understand why the Republicans agree to let the Democrats moderate their debates.

Newt is like Vlade Divac on the 2002 Sacramento Kings. He’s the wiley old guy with many a trick up his sleeve.
Never fight an old guy. If he can’t fight, he might just kill you.

First question asked should have been to the three stooges: Before we begin the debate please tell the American people what your party affiliation is and who you voted for in the 2008 Presidential Campaign. Also, please tell the viewers any political contributions you have made to either party, individuals, and the amounts during the last four years.

Full disclosure ... my preferences among the current candidates are Bachmann, Cain, and Santorum. That being said, I have to admit after watching the debate that Newt Gingrich was the clear winner. His comments on "raising revenues" instead of "raising taxes" was spot-on, it really resonated. Flat out firing Bernanke was "decisive" in contrast to Romney's wishy-washy response. I thought the discourse between Perry and Romney (and even Paul) was childish. Though I agree the room fully supported capital punishment, Perry missed out on a Ron White moment ("my state is putting an express lane") of being clear and decisive and instead he used a ton of words to say "we kill the bad people here". I was very impressed with Gingrich and still very impressed with Bachmann. I don't get the hoopla over Perry. His performance was mediocre. I'm one that felt Gingrich had his chance to fix the nation back in his Speaker of the House days; time to move on. But after the debate yesterday, I have to reconsider.

Newt Gingrich, good physical health, great intellect all coupled with a bad character. What a shame!
