BREAKING: Third Fast & Furious gun at Terry murder scene covered up
Seattle Gun Rights Examiner ^ | 9 September, 2011 | Dave Workman

Posted on 09/10/2011 1:57:31 PM PDT by marktwain

Fox News is reporting that a third gun apparently found at the murder scene of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was linked to Operation Fast and Furious, but its existence may have been deliberately concealed by the FBI to protect the identity of an informant “who works inside a major Mexican cartel.”

That informant, according to the report by Fox reporter William Lajuenesse, “provided the money to obtain the weapons used to kill Terry.” This tends to support statements made by Kenneth Melson, former acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, to congressional investigators in a behind-closed-doors interview on July 4, as reported by this column.

Sources say emails support their contention that the FBI concealed evidence to protect a confidential informant. Sources close to the Terry case say the FBI informant works inside a major Mexican cartel and provided the money to obtain the weapons used to kill Terry.—Fox News

The msm is doing there best to keep this story from getting out. However is spite of their best efforts to keep a lid on the story it keeps oozing out.

It’s time to drag Holder’s ass back up to Capitol Hill and read him his rights before he is questioned.

I’m guessing the FBI will be as honest and objective in their pursuit of the truth in the Solyndra case also.

What did Obama know, and when did he know it? (paraphrase from Watergate)

Holder had to know about this third gun!

I wonder if Holder will claim that he did not mention it because it was a National Security matter?

“to obtain the weapons used to kill Terry”

Previously, it was stated that the two guns found were not the murder weapons. So,,,, is this third gun the murder weapon?

Ruh roh! I have been told all of my adult life (since Watergate), it’s not the original crime, but the coverup that gets ya. Unless of course they change the rules when Democrats are in charge.

“I wonder if Holder will claim that he did not mention it because it was a National Security matter?”

That would be okay, provided he briefed the Senate intelligence oversight committee. As a matter of fact, providing Eric did that, he’d probably be covered on the whole Fast and Furious debacle. But my guess is any briefing had so many misleading fictional elements that he’s exposed. The best he can hope for is for Obama to pardon him. As a matter of fact, if Holder were to take the blame for the entire thing now, Obama could pardon him and they’d both walk free. Holder would get the traditional multi-million dollar (bribe) book deal.

Agreed!! Bring several top positions of DOJ, INCLUDING Holder up at the very same time. Line them up and ask them lots of questions. Issa should get their ducks in a row, ask questions, take names and get er done.

This is an afront to this great country and it needs to be uncovered to see the light of day. The wheels are coming off the buggy with this, the “green jobs”, solar scam in CA.

I agree. IMHO, this was an attack on the Bill of Rights, specifically the Second Amendment, by the federal government that resulted in the deaths of Americans and Mexicans. Heads should be rolling over this. We can’t allow it to be swept under the rug by the feds.

If he briefed both intelligent committees, then I would think we would not have this breaking report of a third gun. I'm guessing it was not mentioned, perhaps because he was never asked. Is Holder required to volunteer info that not directly asked about? You would think there should be no info held back, but I am sure it happens all the time? Now if told them the committees there were only 2 guns and yet he knew at the time there were 3 guns (and maybe more for all we know), then that becomes a problem for him.

Just curious, does anyone know when this F&F operation all started? Under obamma’s regime? or Bush’s presidency?
