The mods probably don't want to see too much material that could be used to brand FR as a "racist" site. Then again, the fact that SO MUCH material is out there isn't our fault.

PA recently upgraded the "Castle Law" so that if somebody forcibly enters your home, you have the right to assume he means you grievous harm and may use deadly force to repel the attack.

Yep. The police department couldn't say if the mother had been arrested, which means she was told not to do it again and let go. She intimidated a witness and because she'd cry racism even louder if charged with that, the cops let her go. That will embolden the next person to do the same thing and probably take it one step further.

Might be a good idea to stay out of the cities the day after Election Day when Obama loses most of the 57 states.

I look at Google News, and there are only six mentions of this story.

SIX. All but one is local news, and the sixth is from the British Daily Mail.

You know that if the colors had been reversed, there would be a thousand articles, and it would by national TV news. I know this because when a very similar incident occurred in Greys Ferry in 1997, it was ALL OVER the news, complete with a Nation of Islam march through the white neighborhood later.

There is in juris prudence a term called “Probable Cause”

The group saw the 2 juveniles go into the house and had reason to beleive that they were inside the house.

The victim was defending himself , his wife and children and his home by closing the door.
The perps broke the door and entered the home (Probable Cause) of a residence that they knew to be occupied.(Possession of Weapon , Felonious Burglary )

The victim didn’t arm himself in fear of his life although he had Probable Cause ; otherwise there might have been a homicide while waiting for police to arrive.
The fact that two perps had instruments (gun)(pipe) capable of causing “serious physical injury” / or “deadly physical force” would constitute “Probable Cause” and justify self-defense and the use of “Deadly Physical Force”.

I find it interesting that the original newspaper article has been edited out.

This book is so illuminating that I simply cannot do justice to it here. I love people who reason so clearly that they help me get my own reasoning clear. Horowitz is just that type of person! In the terrain of mindless clichés (no-blood-for-oil, etc.), he is a breath of real fresh air."

I recall the Black freeper from Cincinatti who was banned as a *racist* for saying mean things about the looters and rioters during the Over-The-Rhine riots in Cincinatti in 2001.

Most of those threads were either pulled by the mods or otherwise dissolved down the FReep memory hole. And then came 09/11, and all was forgotten.
