What petition have you ever signed that did NOT ask for your name, address and phone number? Petitions have to do that, to show the people signing them are real.....
They even let you opt OUT of getting anything more from them.

Good question! Surely those involved in the Underground Railroad, and later on Oskar Schindler and others who sheltered Jews during the holocaust faced this apparent contradiction, being put in the position of blatantly lying to the authorities to save innocent lives. IMO it would be justified since trying to save an innocent life would be a much greater good.

Words mean things. The Word means eternal life. That’s why we humans get so worked up over words and The Word. It really is life or death when it comes to faith; what God says and what we say in return.
Here is a woman whose earthly life is in the balance soley on account of what she belives and confesses. She’s willing to give this life up because she knows her Maker and Redeemer.
