Plus there is plenty of time for Cain to clear up these mischaracterizations. He will do it on his own time.
And watch that “affection” stuff.
Again, as with Palin before, I sense too many people getting personally invested in “their” guy and willfully damning realities.
No pol’ is above reproach or deserving of any nonsensical adoration. We’ve got a guy like that in the Big House now and how many untold millions of characters have been typed on FR over the disgust we see among the Left in their hero-worship.
Gosh, I didn’t realize I was always nervous.
Getting a little anxious about being nervous though now that you mention it. :-)
We must refuse to allow anyone to tell us how to vote or “guilt” us into voting their way.
“Withering”? LOLOL! He has closed to within 11 of Mittens in NH, and leads by double digits in Iowa! Rick Perry would kill to be “withering” like that.
The complicit leftist media is trying to do what La Raza Rick and Milt Romney couldn’t do. Heck, even Karl Rove said Cain was lagging in the polls when he has done nothing but shoot straight up. The desperation of some is astounding. Understandable, but astounding just the same.
Frankly, Cain and all the other right-of-center candidates should quit appearing on Leftmedia shows, knowing they will be blindsided, booby-trapped, and sabotaged. If a candidate insists on going on a MSM show, it should only be to attack them for their bias, the way Gingrich did. And why do we always have enemy personnel "moderating" our debates?
ALL ABOARD THE CAIN TRAIN. The attacks are fast and furious. Socialism has found an enemy!

Which is more than I can say about any of the others, although I think it would be interesting to have Gingrich as a friend, since he seems so intelligent and knowledgeable, but his newest wife looks like an extremely hot mannequin :)
I agree. I thought Cain was ok (although I’m thinking that less and less because of his foot-in-mouth episodes) and I thought Perry was ok, but I never thought either one of them was God. I never thought Romney was ok in any way and I disagree with him on virtually everything and wouldn’t vote for him. So I’m deciding based on policies and values, not on personal charm.
I voted for McCain only because of Palin and I liked her, but I never thought she was God, either.
I just want a competent person who holds conservative positions (even though his or her specifics may be different) and has a track record of doing so. I already have a Savior, and I think He’s beyond aiming for the White House.
If a candidate is a likable person goes a long way. I could easily imagine having the Cain family over for dinner and drinks. Seems like such a good natured, honest man with a great sense of wit.
