Then why is he in the Greek Orthodox Church? Last time I heard, Eastern Orthodoxy is prolife and pro-marriage as Jesus defined it in Matthew 19:4-6.

Exactly. My guess is that becoming (nominally) Greek Orthodox was his most extreme way of rebelling against his fundamentalist Christian roots. The G.O. part means nothing to him; it's just his anarchist way of contemptuously thumbing his nose at the faith of his father.

Frank Schaffer is long dead

His son Franky Schaffer has never been a Christian leader. He has generally been described as an a****le but those who know him and it has been a long standing afflcition.

as I understand it, the Greek Othod. Church is super conservative, like the old Catholic church....

That confused me too? Unless he is tied to a church that plays loose with those points. Who knows? Up is down and down is up lately.
