Five illegal immigrants armed with at least two AK-47 semi-automatic assault rifles were hunting for U.S. Border Patrol agents near a desert watering hole known as Mesquite Seep just north of the Arizona-Mexico border when a firefight erupted and one U.S. agent was killed, records show. Why do we not have a heavily armed U.S. military presence on the border with Mexico?

In the Terry killing, two Romanian-built AK-47 assault rifles found at the scene were identified as having been purchased in a Glendale, Ariz., gun shop as part of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) failed Fast and Furious investigation.FUBO!!!

Bean bag rounds. Whoever was dumb enough to have those guys out there with bean bag rounds deserves to be fired. The sector chief there was swapped out after this happened, but it wasn't publicly announced as a result of this incident.
I wonder where in the BP use of force policy it says that a lethal threat is supposed to be met with less than lethal force? (I know it doesn't.)
The Mexicans are coming after our guys and because it doesn't work well with the political meme, of either party, they pretend it isn't happening. "As safe as it's ever been."

More of that FIIIIIINE North American Union that the US govt wants so desperately and most American's have never heard of.
That's the bottom of this particularly stinky barrel, the North American Union, whether WE THE PEOPLE want it or not, bet on it.
Why else would the govt be taking such pains as sending automatic weapons to the drug cartels if it's not to aid in erasing the border in as brutally efficient way as possible.
WE THE PEOPLE don't count worth a tinkers damn any more.

The cartels were 'hunting' on THIS side of the border. The prey were Border Patrol agents. G-d help us.

Oh? Okay. Then issue these long distance standoff weapons then reach out and touch someone with your cordless long distance drills. Should get some easy work and considerable scratch with .308 180 grain - Winchester and a Leupold Mk 4 scope.
