I know it’s a petty point but there are yellow labs and golden retrievers (unless it’s a mix of the two). Sorry. This one is a yellow lab. My goldens insist I correct this whenever I see it. ;)
You are so correct - a yellow lab. I should know better; I had a combo black lab-golden retreiver mix for fourteen years! A fence jumper got into the back yard of the pure bread golden and I took one of the litter - a very healthy hybrid, black in color with one white star on his chest. He loved everyone, carried everything in his soft mouth, but his tail would knock over small children. And his loud, full throated bark kept away door-to-door solicitors.

LOL not petty to me! 1 of those “petty” things that drives me nuts. Didn’t we just have an article the last few days that said “golden labrador”? I held my tongue.
My only thought is it could be a Golden-Labrador mix. But I know alot of people have no clue; they think a yellow is a “Golden”.
