NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- As the mobile tech revolution takes hold, the way in which we get our news is changing.
More than a quarter of Internet-connected Americans now follow news on mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and e-readers, according to the Pew Research Center's annual State of the News Media report, which was released on Monday.

No wonder why print newspapers and print magazines are dying....
I read while the boss shops. while I work out. when I’m bored, which is a constant ....
All from my stoopit smart phone.
Haven’t read the newspaper in years. Most of the news is 12-24 hours old.
My operating theory is that access to the net via easy to use devices such as the iPad allow people to not only read more news, but they will invariably read news from more non-MSM sources than ever before. Just as important, they will tend to join discussions of news items or social topics and neither those forums nor the topics being discussed are controlled or moderated by the legacy gatekeepers.
In other words, liberal media has lost exclusive control of the topics, themes and memes. People are more free than ever to develop their own news resources and to come to their own opinions. This fact is driving the left frantic.
Digital devices mean adults are discovering the joy of playing games like Jewels and Bubble Busters.
Does reading more news correspond to a rise in anti-depressants?
thank god. I just wish that we had a little more fire power on the right. meaning we need some big real estate to compete with liberals. We are lacking on the web and it seems like conservatives are a shrinking group online. Talk radio still leading the charge.
Your local news paper was never more than a way for someone to sell advertising, and most often get a tax exemption for doing it, while claiming they were doing a public service.
That anal puckering sound you hear is the MSM getting the bad news that they are no longer the only game in town.
Breitbart is here baby!
