The Plot to Get Rush.
The American Spectator ^ | March 27, 2012 | Jeffrey Lord

Posted on 03/27/2012 11:00:15 AM PDT by true believer forever

It was a set up.

From start to finish.

A quite specific, quite detailed plot to get Rush Limbaugh, ruin his career, and drive him off the air.

Next targets? Sean Hannity and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

Lots to cover here.

Let's start with Mr. Angelo Carusone.

Who is Angelo Carusone? Today he is now the "Director of Online Strategy for Media Matters for America."

But a few years back? He was just your basic left-wing law student with a standard left-wing passion. That passion? Totalitarian-style censorship.

No one has the luxury of not reading The American Spectator article. No one.

Here is a post from an earlier thread that dovetails exactly with what is going on currently with Trayvon Martin, and just recently, Sandra Fluke, and the plot against Rush.

Please try to find the time to read the Spectator article. The last line reads: "Only if we fight back."

*******

"I think the "brains" of the left have come up with a model that's based on military planning. They've predefined a set of pre-planned action packages and, to go with them, predefined "trigger events." They watch the domestic news wires 24/7, and, when a potential "trigger event" occurs, they convene a conference call within a very short time frame and decide whether that event reaches the threshold for one of the action packages. If they decide it does -- and the White House may be involved in the decision -- the packaged plan is put into motion.

I think it's pretty well established that this is what happened in the Limbaugh/Fluke situation. The whole thing, including the calls by local "ordinary citizens" to local radio stations and their local advertisers, was set up in advance. They'd been waiting for Rush to say something that reached the threshold for some time -- years, I think -- and, when he did, their plan was put into action immediately.

And, finally, it's not too much of a leap to Trayvon Martin. The teen's angelic looks as a youngster probably figured greatly in their choice, as those are the only pictures being shown. He is a great photo/poster boy for their agenda.

Let me simply say, in my own defense, that I had not read this article before I posted the comments you show above; I didn’t even know there was such an article until just now.

I don’t like the way the pages are set up, so you have to keep clicking for the next page without a lot of text, and advertisements appear.

Actually, I think this whole thing started with Michael Savage. That is partly what his being banned in Britain was all about. He was just an easier target than Rush. JMHO

I think they really wanted someone to jump on her name and slip up and and drop the “L” with the way the left was pronouncing it and saying it should be pronounced.

I think Fluke should be pronounced like Duke but with and LF. The left insists that it is pronounced like Duck but with and Fl. They hoped Rush, Hannity or someone else would use the left’s favorite profane word and they would try to get them banned for that.

To their chagrin, Rush and others didn’t fall for that trap. Rush called Fluke out for wanting to be paid for sex, and the left then went for a secondary attack.

JMHO

Oh, no, not at all. Your comments were much harder hitting, succinct, and had a military heft to them, which I think made the point very strongly. The story meanders a little, takes a lot of detours, but you post is the perfect complement to it... with a lot more punch.

You have nothing to defend. It never occurred to me you had even read the article - I just think the vision of what is going on is finally becoming a little clearer, and you added to that.

A plot that failed very miserably. In fact these stupid plots fail the vast majority of times…

Aparently they didn't use B Wacky strength bleach to clean his records.

They waited 3 weeks to try to shut down Rush, and to scrub records, and let Zmans broken nose and cracked skull heal.

Yeah, but they take their toll on the target, stress, money and time. I am glad this article is out there, and there is one other, which is a good summary. I plan to keep them both, and when we have another breakout of this particular kind of rash, I will have something to send to the advertiser or whomever is being targeted..

Long but very interesting read. I was not surprised one bit but the ending is very chilling.

"Is this still America?

Only if we fight back."

Yeah, I know. I think he is so used to this stuff, at first, he just thought it was the usual media kerfuffle... ultimately, I hope it is. I am not sure, like most people, that it is totally over. But then I am a little paranoid... :)

What got me is the historical references he used, he presented very matter of factly, without any of the usual hysteria or hyperbole, and that is what I think you found chilling. There it was in black and white. Is this still America?

It is good to have a clear sense of their blueprint, though. I think that it is immensely important going forth.

All I know about Michael Savage is that he has a live thread here sometimes on Free Republic.

I imagine, or at least hope, it will all end like the Duke LaCrosse thing... but it is a mess and tragedy for everybody...

Yep, you're right. I remember one day, after this had gotten steam, Rush was absolutely tiptoeing through her name... and kept asking Bo, is that how you say her name before he proceeded...
