President Obama celebrated Father's Day a little bit early, with a stop at Kennys BBQ Smokehouse on Capitol Hill.
In a surprise trip, Obama left the White House to dine with two active duty members of the military as well as two local D.C. barbers who are participating in a new Health and Human Services program promoting fatherhood.
Over lunch, Obama said that children with fathers in their lives are "less likely to do drugs ... it makes a huge difference," he said.
Obama ordered a platter of steaming beef ribs, greens, black0eyed peas, rice, a corn muffin and a bottle of water.

I’ll bet he stuck the two active duty military with the bill.
I don’t know anyone that steams their ribs.
What? No baby back ribs, pulled pork, ham, or links?
Of course; he's not a Muslim.
I assumed that meant that the ribs were hot. I hope he burnt his fingers.
yes, it's a double entendre
God help the rest of us if we ate such a heart unhealthy meal. Wasn’t Moochelle there, or was she at Red Robin again?
Obummer, dog is not on the menu.
