A change in the law to allow doctors to help mentally competent adults to end their lives is 'almost inevitable', Dr Fiona Godlee said, and the medical profession should not oppose it.

Indeed, a change in the law to allow doctors to help mentally competent adults to end their lives is 'almost inevitable', in today's CULTURE of DEATH.

There would be no one around to certify that the dead person actually really really wanted to sign the papers.

As soon as the state becomes responsible for the cost of keeping you alive, they start greasing the skids to hasten your death and minimize their cost. It is only human nature. The state does not give a damn about you or whether you live or die, but they do care about their money.

“Right to Die” will morph into “Duty to Die” before the ink is dry on this proposed rule.

I really don't understand why more people can't see the modern world as an essentially Fascist world. I know that the "big shots" don't wear scary uniforms, but aside from that:

Government does not own the means of production, but Government controls the means of production
Government controls your health
Government controls what you eat
Government wants to take your guns
Government doesn't like the Judeo-Christian traditions of western civilization
Government embraces the killing of the weak and defenseless
Government enjoys wars of opportunity in various parts of the world

We were originally given Limited Government. We were originally expected to be a moral people. We are very far from that now, and the tree of liberty thirsts.

A survey of GPs found almost two thirds were in favour of the British Medical Association and the Royal Colleges adopting a neutral stance to the issue.

What they mean is they are in favor of looking the other way while other “physicians” do the dirty work of knocking off grandma.

For the family memembers, humanitarians everyone of them, I am sure Grandma’s inheritence is never a consideration.
