What’s the diff between official and unofficial condoms and why would it make any difference? Isn’t bad enough that “official” condoms are given out?

The problem is that someone paid for exclusive rights. Exclusive isn’t an ambiguous term in business.

The London Olympic organisers provided 150,000 free condoms in dispensers for the 10,800 athletes at the Games, supplied by Durex which paid for the supply rights.
Geez! Do the math.

“Durex paid for the Olympic endorsement.”
Are you trying to say that Durex got screwed? Oh the irony!

Well, you have the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, and then finals. And that doesn't include the group rounds.

Oh, and if they're gay, they might need two at a time.

In the Olympic marketing world, if someone’s using an unapproved condom, the official sponsor is getting screwed.

And apparently the sponsors are not the only ones getting screwed. Sad to say the least.

You got that right! It is more or less exactly that. Complete with all the booze you could possibly want.

Complete with all the booze you could possibly want. And yet the athletes can compete at such a high level? I don't think so.
