Look, the other guys have a single standard and they are very consistent.

If it furthers the revolution and hurts the majority religion/population, it's good. Very good, in fact. If it retards the revolution and helps the majority religion/population, it's bad. Very bad, in fact.

It's not that they "can't" produce this story. This story does not further the revolution, and it could amplify "false consciousness", so it has to go down the memory hole.

The media tries to silence news of all violence coming from anyone or any group on the left side of the political spectrum. Because for decades (since the Kennedy assassination) it has deliberately fostered a picture of conservative Americans as being half or totally crazy, gun-toting bigots who can't wait to mow down anybody who disagrees with them. Oswald was a Marxist, but that piece of information was almost totally drowned out by the barrage of propaganda from the lib media and Hollyweird about conspiracies of right wing groups to kill Kennedy.

I remember seeing a movie in the seventies with Burt Lancaster asserting that right-wing corps killed J.F.K. Poor Oswald was just a patsy. Nothing has changed since then. The guy who shot up the FRC waa given little time in the major lib media outlets. The frequently violent OWsers's violent crimes were almost totally ignored by the media. Nothing has changed.
