Thanks for that link. Siding with radical Islam has motivated our government to shift attention away from the war on Islamic terror (that raaaacis!) and onto a different target - the left’s political enemies. Both parties are in on this, especially McCain for the GOP.

God bless General Boykin, sacrificed at the altar of political correctness under the hand of Bush II. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/09/15/60ii/main643650.shtml

It is later than you think. Agencies that have no business arming themselves are doing so. And that health-care bill that no one read before it passed, provides for a national police force that does what the military is prohibited from doing according to Posse Comotades. Candidate Obama called for a national police force equal to the capabilities of our military (that is a page out of the Communist playbook), you can find video of that one on youtube. The way it is written in the health-care law this force is totally under the purview of the President of the United States. BUT, don't take my word for it, IT'S IN THERE, I HAVE READ IT. There is also a longstanding, little-known idea that was actually in play during WWII; Martial Law is easier to invoke in our society than you would think even under current law.

I am a Former Intel Analyst who has reason to track what goes on in the region. And I also track all things political nationally and internationally. While I agree that we need to acknowledge our involvement, your take is a little simplistic.

Oh, and the guy talking to Beck, General Boykin, was Commander, Delta Force, and Commander, USSOCOM, and he spent time as Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence. If means anything, he spent 2 years of his life being investigated for a myriad of things stemming from false accusations (levied because he made the statement quoted to a Somali Warlord) and he was exonerated on ALL charges. I have not only met him, but I have worked with people who know and have worked closely with him both as a military professional and as a civilian operator.

Ought to read up some time on how Ike dealt with American generals who made similar idiotic statements that might offend allies during WWII.

Generals, especially in time of war, are given great power. They as a result have great responsibility not to say remarkably stupid things that injure the fighting power of the nation they work for.
