Creepiest Obama ad ever: First time voting like losing virginity.
Life News ^ | 10/26/12 | S. Ertelt

The Obama campaign has put out an official video targeting young adults that compares voting to having sex for the first time. There really are not words to describe the ad, but it gels with the Obama campaign theme that this year’s election is all about sex, birth control and abortion. (snip.)

...Just an absolutely bafflingly creepy spot.

Not just "un-presidential," it's frickin' disgusting.

Disgusting. A president that inspires the mentality which thinks like this and then is willing to go public, only emphasizes the societal degradation we have suffered as a result of the White House leadership.

Absolutely unbelievable new low.

Like I said on another thread, I would expect that most young women would be mortified by this spot. It is very demeaning to women and treats them like vacant-minded sex objects, gushing over their "first time" and thinking that their man really, really cares about them because he is concerned about their health coverage and access to birth control.

Men watching football in bars this weekend are going to be laughing hysterically at this ad should this come on during the game because they are going to see right through it. Of course men care deeply about whether the women they are sleeping with have access to health care and birth control, but that is only in self-interest. This is because men do not have to worry about unwanted pregnancies and other "complications" when they are having their one-night-stands.

This ad is just so wrong on so many levels. If a Republican candidate ran it, the NOW gang would be out in the streets.

They are going for the SLUT vote now. Pretty ‘disgraceful’ way to project women. Sounds like a real “War on Women”.

I wonder what all self-respecting ‘Ladies’ feel about this projection of their gender?

The ad while revolting may be quite effective with those young people that engage in premarital sex and who are largely Democrats.

I’m sure the campaign tested the ad with such people in focus groups.

The GOP should have a follow-up ad:

Sure, I still respect you!

This is not a shock, recently, an Obama campaign manger said they were trying to get the votes of those who don’t pay attention to what is going on because they just have sex on the sofa. That’s what they said. This is very hedionistic. Hedonistic Values are not the values that the United States were founded on. It’s a completely Godless way of looking at life, like people are just animials, who don’t have any spirtual thoughts. That’s what they have been using the schools, to convert young people into being completely hedonistic and Godless. That’s why they hate people like us who believe in God. We understand we are not just animals, but that our lives have a higher purpose. They despise us for that.

It isn't just conservatives. Hillbuzz linked to Entertainment weekly's report on it, and the posts are almost 100% negative. Entertainment Weekly is hardly a conservative site.

They apparently got the idea from Vladimir Putin. Here is one of his ads:

Here's another one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn99ESsk0i8
