David Petraeus, the retired four-star general who led the U.S. military campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, abruptly resigned Friday as director of the CIA after admitting he had an extramarital affair with his biographer, Paula Broadwell, according to a new report.

Makes sense, I always wondered how anyone with any integrity at all could accept an appointment in the Obama administration. Turns out he didn’t have any. He was in a position where 300 million Americans needed to have trust in him, and it turns out the man’s own wife can’t trust him.
