I do not condone the General's actions and I feel that his resignation was appropriate.

With that being said, there are two parties in every affair and I just hope this woman suffers the same public humiliation and destruction of career as Petraeus. She's nothing but a slut and a two-bit whore.......

Unfortunately this is likely to be a career enhancement for her with a potential book deal and lots of television appearances...........

The very reason I don’t facebook.

I cannot understand why people feel compelled to publicly post private information.

If Obama and the FBI knew this before the election, Petraeus should have been asked to resign immediately and not wait until after the election. Politics trump national security once again.

They covered this angle thoroughly on FNC Special Report. If Mueller knew about this some time ago which is speculated may be true, why wasn't something done then? If it was a security risk now, then it was a security risk then and Obama politicized Benghazi - exactly what he accused Romney of doing.

Is there some rule that says he can’t testify after he has resigned? _________________________________________________

None that I know of or no more so than if he were still with the administration. What it does is send a message to anyone else who would ‘rat’ out this administration. Remember what Jarrett said to her staffers in Chicago before the election even took place. It was to the effect that those who betrayed the One would have hell to pay. As the story goes, they all signaled their approval with the statement.

That is EXACTLY what the panel were just discussing on FNC just now.

The implications are simply beyond belief. IF Mueller knew, IF Obama knew..when did they find out? What went into the decision to keep it quiet? Apparently this investigation isn’t two days old, like the election results. As usual, we are left with, what did the president know and when did he know it?

“Having a bunch of medals and badges doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve achieved anything, you’ve got to do something beyond yourself to make a difference in life.

So exactly how does Paula Broadwell think military commendations and decorations are actually won?

If it’s worth doing a broad, it’s worth doing a Broadwell.

“Let’s see, Petraeus resigns, private citizen, invokes 5th Amendment, Hillary resigns, private citizen, invokes the 5th Amendment. Holder resigns, private citizen, invokes the 5th Amendment. Nope, nothing to see here, move along.

Don’t you all just love such coincidences?

If the military goes after him, how are the rules different? Could he still stonewall in that court?

He can testify, but his testimony will be tainted. With this revelation, how can anything he says be trusted? If he says anything that would incriminate Obama, they’ll say he was vindictive.

His testimony is not worth diddley squat. Obama gets yet another lucky break. No wonder he likes Vegas so much. All his gambles pay off big.

Paula Broadwell is a research associate at Harvard University's Center for Public Leadership and a PhD candidate in the Department of War Studies at King's College London. She spent much of the past year in Afghanistan as an embedded author, building upon her previous two-year pursuit of a doctoral dissertation: a study in transformational leadership and organizational innovation influenced by U.S. Army General David Petraeus.

Broadwell's passion for leadership and security policy stems from her background in the U.S. military and her academic pursuits. She graduated with academic and leadership honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Running on the cross country, indoor, and outdoor track teams, Broadwell graduated at the top of her class in physical fitness. She has lived, worked, or traveled in over 60 countries during more than fifteen years of military service and work in geopolitical analysis and counterterrorism and counterinsurgency operations. During that time, she had assignments with the U.S. intelligence community, U.S. Special Operations Command and an FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. Broadwell earned an MA with honors from the University of Denver Korbel School of International Studies, a certificate of Arabic study (in Jordan and the Palestinian Territories) through the National Security Education Program Boren Fellowship, and also earned an MPA degree from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government while serving as the Deputy Director of the Jebsen Center for Counter-Terrorism Studies at The Fletcher School, Tufts University. Broadwell previously wrote for London's Kings of War and the Washington Post/Foreign Policy's "Best Defense" blogs, and she has published op-eds in The New York Times, International Herald Tribune, Christian Science Monitor, and Boston Globe. She has also written chapters in books on counterinsurgency, transformational leadership, and women in defense, and has contributed to national TV networks and BBC radio and NPR on similar topics. In her free time, she has been a sponsored 1/2 Ironman Triathlete and a female model/demonstrator for KRISS (.45 caliber machine gun manufacturer); she remains active in international women's counter-terrorism, peacekeeping, and conflict resolution efforts as well as veteran support organizations, especially the fitness-oriented Team Red White and Blue.

Looking at her credentials, she is sharp as a whip and may have been on to something bigger than the Petreaus bio, which is why the FBI was after her.

Always found it strange that some people gravitate toward a member of the opposite sex that has similar facial structure. The last thing I want to do is look at myself while having fun.

Come to think of it, that also works when some people pick dogs. So perhaps sex has nothing at all to do with it.
