Still an increase for me. It isn't whether you are soft or hard on the pedal, it is a matter of driving appropriately for the situation. Sometimes, mashing the throttle pedal can be the difference between life or death, sometimes the brake.

Both have kept me from getting killed.

If whoever is reading the data wasn't there, they can't know.

Last thing I need is the stinking government backseat driving. You won't find GPS in any of my vehicles, either.

I’ve had to drive Off the freeway at 65mph and onto the shoulder to keep from being rear ended as the poor devil at the tail of the 20mph jam up in front of me got it.

When will we get recorders to log that?

And what will the Govt fines for it be?
