Government employees lying is shocking to you?
They did keep saying over and over that the cabin he was hiding out in was "right across the street, about 150 yards from" the location where the police had set up their operations in Big Bear.

“I guess it never occurred to you those idiots arent planning to do it all by their lonesomes (eyeroll).”
Until there is some organization to any resistance, you had better not group together in more than threes. One of you will be an informer.
Just imagine what 10 millions patriots could do in the event of a gun grab?
Prayers for the innocent victims whom the officers recklessly and dangerously shot, knowing they were driving vehicles not even *remotely* similar to the suspect’s vehicle.
Don't confuse the San Bernardino Mountains with Hollywood. It is a vast and rugged area with peaks as high as 10,000 feet. It is also very cold at night, and there can be a 10-foot snow pack. To top it off, it can be pea-soup foggy in the mornings. If this Dorner were as sharp as his media fan base thinks and he had real X-country skills, he could have holed up in there for months. He had no real plan. He had weapons and a sick racist grudge. After that, it looks as if it might have been catch-as-catch-can.
Where the cops failed, IMHO, was in their tactical field abilities, especially in cover and concealment, and perhaps marksmanship or inappropriate weapons (pistols at 200 yards?). Perhaps they threw TOO MANY people into the fight. Perhaps the F&G guys should not have engaged. Who knows?
We'll never get the full story
