This is in NY though which is pretty much a despotic state now. They ban EVERYTHING not just guns. For example the other day Despot Mike Bloomberg banned sodas delivered with pizzas. Just more flexing of the Despots power.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/feb/24/report-ny-mayor-bloomberg-bans-2-liter-sodas-pizza/

So rather than protest gun control, what we should do instead is show exactly what happens WHEN the 2nd amendment is infringed: You get a despotic state. You get tyranny. And Despot Bloomberg is only too happy to provide one example after another.

“There MUST be some sort of law being broken here.”

Why? Does the President lose his 1st Amendment rights when he takes the oath of office? Otherwise, the man can endorse anything he wants. This is America.

If there is still a working link to book a free ride, this claim of the trip being cancelled may be a head fake.

However - the article mentioned that the Albany police felt the counter protest would be a bad idea (I agree), and so perhaps it really was cancelled. I don’t think putting a couple hundred union jerks in with thousands of sportsman types is going to be a very good idea. At all.

I will be attending the rally. I did a post on the rally and the movement to encourage NYers to boycott the purchase of sportsman licenses for the year 2013. Many are beginning to call for a boycott of NY Lottery as well. Keep our discretionary money out of the hands of NY - that will have more impact than nearly anything else we could do.

My “article” has info about parking in downtown Albany and the links to interactive maps. Anyone planning to attend who is not familiar with Albany might want to take a look.

http://myveryownpointofview.wordpress.com/2013/02/24/ny-gun-law-results-in-sporting-license-boycott-plus-updates-on-ny2a-day-protect-second-amendment-rally/

We are driving in the night before and staying at a downtown hotel. The main reason is that I’ve been ill for weeks and just beginning to improve, the other is that I HATE farting around trying to get parked in a city that I am not very familiar with. LOL I am a wuss.

Maybe only Tigerseye signed up, they’re trying to save face :)

Concerned about a confrontation w lawless union thugs? Since when... Oh yeah, last time they upset some hardworking hotdog venders cart and terrorized those in the tent they tore down.

They’ve been at this for years unchecked.

Bloomberg is the Captain Queeg of his time. Remember Captain Queeg of the movie The Caine Mutiny? Humphrey Bogart played Captain Queeg, who was removed of command because of his paronoid personality and his extreme mico-managing of the crew, etc. Remember how Queeg use to fondle a pair of ball bearings, or whatever they’re called, in his hand to comfort himself when he felt the stress of his paronoia? The midget Bloomturd is fondling his ball bearings, or whatever he found in HIS pants. He is a tiny man who feels he must be king, and he must micro-manage the lives of his subjects with senseless laws that prohibit people from making their own choices and running their own businesses. Bloomturd is mentally ill...and the cracks of his minds are beginning to show more clearly as he goes to the next extreme of telling people what he feels they MUST do. Bloomburg is YOUR NUT, NEW YORK CITY. CRACK THIS NUT and win your city BACK!

I moved out of there 2 months ago not just because it was too expensive, but because I couldn’t take living under a despotic state anymore. The final straw is when he started demanding landlords submit a list to the city of all the people who smoke in their apartments. That’s Nazi sh*t, so I was outta there. Libs want to live like that, then fine. Live it up.

People in other parts of the country have no idea how fast it can all change around. They think they’re safe because it’s the USA, but all they need to do is look towards NYC. The constitution no longer exists in NYC. The city rules every aspect of your life, and if you do not toe the line they will utterly destroy you.

A friend of mine use to own a deli on Queens blvd in Woodside. Is say use to because he closed down, went out of business. Why? Because of the Nazi tactics of the Bloomberg administration. Like the Nazis, they tagged his windows. But instead of “Juden” written in whitewash, they tagged his place with letter ratings: A for best, B for OK, C for fail all in the guise of “public health” which is BS. All this depended on how you paid off his brown shirts on what rating you got.

For example in one day he could find himself facing thousands of dollars in fines for the most minute offenses such as “cash register display less than 8” off the counter” or “no cash refunds” posted in the front, or cigarette display less than 5 feet from counter”..on and on and on and on and on and if you didn’t pay and pay and pay then came the “health inspectors” who like the Nazis tagged your window advising the public to not do business with you.

And if you think that’s bad, he regularly threatens cops if they do not act like brown shirts, if they do not help the city steal money from the citizens. For example he gives them an insane amount of ticket quotas they have to reach, and if a driver contests the ticket in court and wins, Bloomberg then docks the cop 3 vacation days. People don’t believe it, so I direct them to the PBA website....

This is the radio ad they put out.

Here is a link to buses for the good, law abiding NYers who are looking to attend the pro second amendment rally on Thursday. They don’t appear to be free, but it looks like a fair amount of buses will be going up!

From what you've reported, and it is something I knew nothing about, and yes, it is so similar to what Hitler did, do you see any hope of a revolt by the people of New York City? How can they put up with this Nazi? Do you sense that people are totally fed up and ready to rise up and do something about the removal of Bloomberg?

God bless you New York state Patriots who are fighting this ahole in OUR White House. We are so proud, so uplifted and inspired by what you all are doing, in great numbers and as a united front. Let your actions be a guide to the rest of us in our respective states on how to conduct “business” with the left. Also remember, we must use reverse Saul Alinsky Rules For Radicals (check google for the list of these Rules, make a copy of them and pass them around, so you will know how to apply your techniques to those Rules against the left.)

GO, NEW YORK STATE, GO!

I tell you, I’ve never seen a politician so hated by the people as this guy Bloomberg, and oddly enough they all take it. No protests or nothing. I don’t know how the rest of the country feels about him, but without a doubt if he were President pulling this crap there would be riots in the street.

New Yorkers for some reason put up with abuse. One theory my brother came up with is because everybody in the city is too busy working to do anything else which is pretty true. 8 hours days at work just doesn’t exist unless your rich. Everybody I know puts in at least 12. When I was unemployed a few years ago I use to put in 24 hour days driving a taxi which was freakin nuts. I would work 12, sleep a couple hours then do another shift - rinse repeat 7 days a week. I was in debt up to my butt and had no choice, and I tell you what ticked me off more than anything was how that SOB did everything in his power to make my life a living hell. Tickets tickets tickets tickets tickets constantly constantly. Pick someone up - ticket. Drop someone off - ticket. All the time, and that’s because of the ticket quota.

They would give me tickets for “blocking a traffic lane” while dropping or picking someone up, oh and the best...Pulling to the side of the street to drop someone off and the cops putting a ticket in my windshield for “parking at an expired meter”. My lawyer was Lauren Z. Asher, one of the best traffic lawyers in NYC who would almost always get them dismissed which must have cost a lot of cops their vacation days.

I had one cop once give me 10 points worth of tickets all in one shot: improper turn, illegal turn, no signal, improper lane change, and she got them ALL dismissed. And it was an NYPD Sergeant who gave me those if you believe it! They had a freakin’ Sergeant out there harassing taxi drivers! And what’s funny is I never got a single ticket for working more than 12 hours in a 24 hour period. That’s because the city knew what was going on, they know a LOT of drivers put in 24 hour days but they want those drivers out there making as much money as possible so they can steal it or attempt to steal it.

What you've experienced is galling..disgusting. I guess the question to ask New Yorkers is, how much is it worth to you to keep your freedom, your liberty? At some point, you men and womem must decide that, work responsibilities aside, you must make an effort, you must make time to join forces with like-minded people who want to take this country back, city by city. Join up with the www.nra.org, www.oathkeepers.org, to name but a few. These organizations will give you the opportunity to meet up with others and share ideas and plans in confidence. In particular, Oathkeepers has a system that makes this possible to do just that..check them out; it is open to men and women, active and retired military, police officers, firemen/women, ANYONE who wants to take this county BACK. It will take sacrifice and families must be made to understand this. You will need people in the polling places and boots on the ground. The vote and your active presence where it is needed (i.e. the Albany rally is an example) is vital.

We have to beome the freedom fighters of THIS war that we are in. We must resist, delay, obstruct and sabotage in what ever way we can to delay oboma in his push to destroy US, until we rid ourselves of him. That means we must prioritize in terms of what is most important to us at this time in our life...New Yorkers can either keep their heads down, take the crap that Bloomturd the Nazi dishes out and do nothing, or they can MAKE the time to join up and join forces with others who feel as they do. The choice is up to them, and to us all, for that matter. I'm so glad to hear you don't live in that hell hole any longer. The fight is definitely up to New Yorkers...let's see if they ultimately prefer to live as drones and slaves to socialism, or if at some point they will have had enough and stand up and fight.
