After looking at the picture....you wonder how either lady survived the shooting. Personally, I would have sued the city for a million bucks.
They obviously retained inadequate legal representation.
These two women should OWN the LAPD.
They are...the $40,000 each woman is getting is for buying a new truck and covering the taxes they were told they have to pay for it. The personal injury and damages litigation is still moving forward.

TAXPAYERS pay for individuals’ misdeeds, because they are “government employees”, IMMUNE TO PERSONAL LIABILITY.
So who got the shot up truck? Thats the item with some value. Some collector would want that.
The paper ladies’ truck with all the holes in it needs to be enshrined at the LAPD shooting range.
The settlement for a new truck is INDEPENDENT of the lawsuit. They’re still suing.
