Breaking: Pentagon Confirms May Court Martial Soldiers Who Share Christian Faith
Breitbart ^ | 5/1/13

Posted on 05/01/2013 9:27:40 AM PDT by Nachum

The Pentagon has released a statement confirming that soldiers could be prosecuted for promoting their faith: "Religious proselytization is not permitted within the Department of Defense...Court martials and non-judicial punishments are decided on a case-by-case basis...”.

The statement, released to Fox News, follows a Breitbart News report on Obama administration Pentagon appointees meeting with anti-Christian extremist Mikey Weinstein to develop court-martial procedures to punish Christians in the military who express or share their faith.

(From our earlier report: Weinstein is the head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, and says Christians--including chaplains--sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in the military are guilty of “treason,” and of committing an act of “spiritual rape” as serious a crime as “sexual assault.” He also asserted that Christians sharing their faith in the military are “enemies of the Constitution.”)

Being convicted in a court martial means that a soldier has committed a crime under federal military law. Punishment for a court martial can include imprisonment and being dishonorably discharged from the military.

If a person is pestering others, then it could prevent harmony within the group.

"What do you mean...'Disharmony aboard this ship'?!"

You are correct. There is an ongoing purge of everyone that does not owe their prerequisites and pay to the administration; i.e. Sodomites, criminals, vice addicts, that peculiar type of woman who views herself “just like a man!”

From Trevor Loudon

… Barack Obama has worked with pro-Moscow Marxists including Frank Marshall Davis and Alice Palmer, and pro-Cuban radicals like Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, his entire life.

Their number one priority has always been the destruction of the US military, the only significant block remaining, to global revolution.

To Christians, particularly evangelicals who disproportionately are represented in the U.S. Armed Forces (because they love God, country, and family), The Risen Jesus’ Great Commission is law above the U.S. Constitution and DoD regulations:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

There is a 2nd Revolution coming at some point, I suspect.

I’m a man of many fits actually. Hissy, snit, shXt and conniption. I just went with the general fit on this one until the GOP ticks me off more. I don’t think it’s possible but they always seem to amaze me. ;)

I figured as much just reading the little bit here about him, listening to him must be a hoot.

As much as I despise Obama and his regime, this is a clarification of an existing policy. It’s not just about Christians. Religious prosyletization has been forbidden i the military workplace for many, many years.

If it’s open to Christians, then it’s going to be open to muslims... to give a supervisor carte blanche authorization to preach in the workplace is an invitation to trouble.

The no-prosyletizing policy is nothing new here.

RE #40: “This is the time to be taking names.”

Somebody has probably already taken ours, and along with their “little list” a couple of those .40 S&W JHPs the DHS has been stockpiling likely have our names engraved on them as well...

...Just waiting for delivery.

“I spent 20 years in the Air Force and not once experienced proselytization.”

And even if you did, would there be a problem? NO!!!

It’s called the First Amendment, and soldiers died for it.

True. But watch which faith gets the brunt of enforcement. A policy in place for decades does not ‘need’ to be clarified by the very fact it has been in place for decades. This was brought out for a reason. Intimidation for now, prosecution later.

“This is very similar to NAZI Germany when Jews were slowly forced out of various occupations. The goal is clear, force Christians out.”

Germany thought they were a Christain nation as well, Luther’s “Holy” Germany.

There is no moral difference between the US government and the Third Reich. The US gov engaged in State-sponsored racism when Holder threw out the NBP voter intimidation case. Fast and Furious was the US sponsoring narco-terrorism.

The US is not mentioned in Biblical prophecy, and God will allow it to be destroyed, just like Germany. Only the spritually naive can think God will contine to bless this nation.

“Pentagon May Court Martial Soldiers”

Martial soldiers are certainly the best.

Re #21; Traditionally, Jews do not proselytize.
There is no “Great Commission” in the Torah that I’m aware of. They will accept converts, but as a general rule don’t go around advertizing or recruiting for the Faith.

Christian Chaplains don’t usually (and I don’t think are permitted to) evangelize outside of their constituency of Believers but routinely minister, pray for and with, to and support them.

If a seeking Soldier came to a Christian Chaplain inquiring of the Faith they were allowed to share, but that seems to be changing.

Muslims? Are you kidding?
