You are not correct.

The gay thing was trivial compared to the total abandonment of a hundred years of retail knowledge ans strategy.

it was the latter that caused customers to flee. the gay thing was but a gust in the stronger gale.

They wanted $50 for a Hawaiian shirt. They’re out of their damn minds.

I agree. Until they totally repudiate their pro-gay/marriage advertising, I will continue to NOT shop there.

Their pro gay agenda was a slap in the face of their most loyal customers, Christian women. Will never go back especially since Soros is involved.

There’s no Degeneres in this tv commerical....I have a feeling her days will be numbered....just as Martha Stewarts will be once they sell out of her inventory...and it’s doubtful you will see any more homosexual agenda pushed as well...

BTW...they have brought St. John’s Bay back into the stores already...more to come...

Do you not watch fox...or use Apple..or Pay Pal or the countless other companies he’s invested in?

The concern , if any, should be will he and Achman do a corporate takeover IMO.

Not any more...the gay agenda will be pushed out now...did you see any gays in that TV commercial?

Pennny’s board listened to Ackman and Johnson...they are now regretting that support they gave...not to late to turn this around...and I believe they will do so now the “junk” leadership has been removed.

HEck Johnson lost three of his key partners just in 7 months because he wouldn’t even listen to them!

I hope you are right. I have always loved Towncraft t-shirts and dress shirts.

And then along came Ellen.....

Two mommies in the ads. Then two daddies in the ads. The left’s top queer lesbian as their main hired advertiser. I don’t care if they got rid of the pervert recruiter CEO. When the current board is gone...we can talk. Last time I bought several hundred for clothes was with JCP, but I didn’t know they were leaning toward the 4% of us who are perverted. Never again.

"Now billionaire George Soros's Soros Fund Management has reported a position of over 17 million shares in J.C. Penney, or 7.9% of the total shares outstanding...Soros's fund didn't own any shares at the beginning of this year.

That'll swear me off J.C. Penney for good.

They THINK the lack of special sales is why customers don’t want to go into stores groomed or disinfected for the HIV crowd. Nobody at JCP is willing to admit their biggest mistake. Marketing to 4% of national customers didn’t work out too well, huh.

The crowd here is caught up in queer advertising, rather than paying attention to the man behind the curtain. Strange.

They can be caught up in both, in my opinion. I think it’s perfectly fine for Christians to be riled by the old Penneys advertising, but I think we can agree that neither of us can abide Soros money underwriting the ‘changeover’.

This gang has one, and only one chance to make this work.

What they need to do is make a conscious decision to sell American stuff.

All American stuff. I mean it, no exceptions.

That would be novel, and people would go there for that reason.

Do I think they will do this? No. But it would work.

JCPenney: we’re sorry. We were under a lot of stress and drinking too much. We didn’t mean anything we said. We’ve changed. Really. We now know how much we hurt you. We are willing to work on ourselves and the relationship if you would just give us another chance.

I work at Penney’s and there are some customers who will never come back nor care to understand what happened along the way... that not only upset customers but employees and all those who have enjoyed shopping Penney’s and working there.

We are very happy to see familarity begin to show itself again..and customer traffic picking up. ..and looking forward to getting Penney’s back to the store it’s intended to be and not the ‘something else’ Johnson and his crew tried to make it.

Bye.

Will it also swear you off form all the other banks and investments he has of products and labels?

Here’s the latest responses from customers on facebook... it’s looking favorable that customers are willing to forgive...and Penney’s IS listening.

“J.C. Penney’s Facebook page is blowing up.... It’s “We’re Listening” post has nearly 50,000 “ likes” and has been shared more than 3,200 times...

I suspect this will grow...customers want “ Their Store” back and in just three weeks times it’s headed that way.

Soros isn’t the one who has underwritten Penney’s....it was already on the upswing with Bankers and vendors on board for whatever Ullman could do to steady the ship.

They have leveraged store properties to keep the cash flow moving for obvious reasons....Soros in or out simply makes it easier to invest for the WAll street crowd and other investers who follow him..and they do.

I don’t like the idea of Soros being invested at all...but I will not let this man determine how I see this company’s efforts to re-establish itself..when it was on a crash course. He’s one part of a very large effort...it will happen with or without him.
