Thanks to NRO's Andrew Johnson, we learned that on Friday MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts used selective clips from a speech by Vice President Joe Biden to make it look as though Biden was making a push for gun control. Biden's speech had nothing to do with guns.

NBC is a joke. People have talked about the death of TV...here’s an example.

The average person with a little practice and DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) like Pro Tolls/Cubase/Reaper on their computer, and a couple vocal programs like Melodyne, can take a collection of stock footage and edit down a library from which he can construct any pol saying anything they want. And do it so convincingly that only a forensic examination could spot it.
A pro audio engineer could do a lot of propaganda in a short time.
Edit...Pro Tools..Though their business model leads many to call it Pro ToLLs sarcastically.

I’ve always wondered what an apology means or is worth from people that lied and committed fraud on purpose. When they and we know full well they plan on doing again and again.
Actually, you’re statement could very well come to fruition. With our dumbed down society, and the apparent growing number of koolaid drinkers out there, why not just “make it up” altogether?
Let’s just imagine a small snipet where the media cgi’s some “lost tape” of Reagan secretly saying that he’d come to the conclusion that socialized medicine is exactly what the country needs. The vast majority of his family, except Michael, would go along with it without protest. Michael could scream from the mountaintops that it was fake, but to steal a phrase from satan’s assistant “What difference, at this point, would (does) it make” The media opperates on snipets, not facts, and the lie would become truth with repeated play.
The left will start small, such as they’re doing right now, where the omit, splice, or do whatever they want to get he right “message” out, then move on to insignificant cgi clips, and then on to entire speaches by sitting officials. The majority of Americans are already ignorant of the facts, and will have lees and less desire to know the truth as time goes on.
A small, very angry contingent of people will be left struggling to get the truth out there. Sites like this, and media such as Fox will be increasingly vilianized until the left “cgi” an event so bad that puts them all underground.
The trajectory is there already. I’ve given up on thinking that the public would be outraged if they only knew the truth, and have begun to think they do know the truth. The wry grins on the so called “leftist guests” on Fox, and the brazen confidence of those on other networks, tells me that they not only know the truth and don’t care, they actually enjoy killing it.
Seems CNN does just that!

Even MSNBC’s best editors can’t do that. They left in the heretofore unknown and bafflingly legal-sounding word “pre-deceased”.
