I'll vote for a cartoon character over any on the braindead Reps that vote for this.
“Gee, you mean they'll like us and vote for us despite the bias against us in the media that will continue. Duh, sure where do I sign up, Yuk, Yuk...doy!”

“I already made my vow. Amnesty passes, and Ill never again vote GOP. Big office or small. Never again.”
Why wait till the passage of amnesty? The gop is just one wing on the gop/’rat uniparty. A slight difference in rhetoric, but no difference in substance.
The actors don’t matter when the script never changes.

Sorry. The gop isn’t and hasn’t been an “alternative” party for some time. And they’ll get plenty of money to run things from their cronies. One hand washes the other, dontcha know. So we needn’t fret about that.

"GOP May Be Changing Minds on Immigration"
Translated: GOP changing minds on cheap labor and importing new captive renters to pump-up over inflated real estate values.

backstabbers. I see a lot of progress on the state level, but the Washington country club establishment is filled with a bunch of backstabbers. I am not ging to be overdramatic because most GOP legislators re apparently staying true. But we do need to get rid of Graham and MCaine and be selective about others.

Boehner did a fundraiser for my congressman (Scott Perry R-PA 4TH) earlier this week who had nice words for him while saying the people of his district are opposed to anything that “smacks of amnesty” whatever that really means.
My congrssman is one of the 60 or 70 who have been making noises on amnesty and the food stamp bill, among other things, portraying himself as more conservative than Boehner.

Those idiots. Any GOPer voting for amnesty deserves to be voted out. I don’t care if the GOP ends up with half the seats they have now, they would have deserved it.

I already made my vow. Amnesty passes, and Ill never again vote GOP. Big office or small. Never again. If Amnesty passes there will bo no further reason to vote. When the new citizens start voting the Two Party system is at an end.We transform very quickly the rest of the way into a totalitarian socialist one party state. Even Mexico would probably be a better place to be, for a while. Uruguay or Chile will last a bit longer. The remaining civilized countries will just have to sit tight and hope that the USSSA implodes to impotence before it gets around to conquering its neighbors or that the likely WWWIII doesn't incinerate the geographically freer and more prosperous out of the way places.

Their re-elections don’t really matter terribly to them. By voting “correctly” they assure their prosperous financial futures whether they win or lose the next election. That is why voters no longer really have much influence on what happens in the Congress beyond choosing the particular individuals who will be empowered to rape the nation.

- ...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said. [Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften [immigration, gay marriage] stance]
